Interpretation questions- Why does Paul begin Romans 12 with “the mercies of God” before calling believers to present their bodies as living sacrifices? How does that order protect Christians from treating obedience as mere behavior modification? [27:27]
- Romans 12:3 warns against thinking too highly of oneself, while verses 6–8 tell every believer to use grace-given gifts. How can a believer recognize both pride and false humility when considering what they have to offer the body? [39:29]

Application questions- A living sacrifice is offered daily, not only once. What desire, entitlement, accomplishment, habit, or area of control is most difficult for you to lay before Christ right now? What would it look like to place that specific thing before him this week? [32:03]
- The church is not a place to consume programs, preaching, or care from a distance; believers are members of one another. Where have you been more of a consumer than a participating body part, and what is one tangible step toward deeper participation? [37:20]
- Every believer has received grace and gifts for the common good, including gifts that happen quietly and behind the scenes. What ability, experience, resource, or spiritual gift might God be calling you to use more intentionally for others? [38:14]
- Romans 12 calls believers to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Who in this church family needs someone to enter their joy or hardship with them, and how could you move toward them this week?
- “Let love be genuine” includes meeting needs, showing hospitality, praying consistently, and honoring one another. Which of these forms of love is most natural for you, and which one would stretch you in a healthy way? [43:14]
- Consider the give-and-take of your relationships in the local body. Without shame or comparison, how would you describe the balance between receiving care and giving care? What might the Lord be inviting you to do next? [44:03]
- If you have trusted Christ but have not been baptized or intentionally joined a local church, what question, concern, or next step needs to be addressed so that your belonging can be made clear and visible? [47:37]
