The New Covenant emphasizes victory over sin, not just forgiveness. This victory is possible because we are under grace, not law, allowing us to overcome sin's power in our lives. Romans 6:14 says, "Sin shall not rule over you because you're not under law, old Covenant, but under grace." [00:00:42]

In the Old Testament, Satan is almost not found except in rare instances. But when you come to the New Covenant, as soon as Jesus is baptized, the very first thing is encountering Satan. Throughout his ministry, he was casting out demons, showing Satan's active role in the New Testament. [00:03:19]

Ephesians 6:11-12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. The emphasis in the New Testament is not on the power of Satan but on the schemes and tricks of Satan. We must stand against the deceiving tricks of Satan. [00:04:18]

If you fight with human beings, whether you know it or not, you are under the old Covenant. You can say you belong to the New Covenant Christian Fellowship, but if you fight with your wife, husband, or relatives, you are an old Covenant Christian. [00:06:35]

The baptism in the Holy Spirit brings us into a spiritual realm, opening our eyes to a realm we are not aware of by just intellectual study of the word. One of the things I saw was the realm of Satan, where he tries to deceive people. [00:07:04]

If you want to overcome Satan, determine that you will never fight with human beings. If somebody comes to fight with you, say, "I don't want to fight." Even arguments can be a fighting with flesh and blood. Avoid arguments; you won't accomplish anything that way. [00:08:14]

Truthfulness is essential in defeating Satan, the father of lies. By committing to absolute truth, we protect ourselves and our families from his influence. Teach your children to speak the truth to protect them from Satan's attacks as they grow up. [00:14:38]

The Word of God is our offensive weapon against Satan. A disciplined study of Scripture equips us to stand firm against his schemes and protects us from temptation. The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is the only offensive weapon we have. [00:20:00]

The devil will not encourage you to be faithful in studying and meditating on God's word. Your life will change with a disciplined study of God's word. It protected me from numerous temptations, and I encourage you to teach your children to study God's word. [00:20:18]

Be angry, but don't sin. All other anger, other than these two things I mentioned, is sin. Any other type of anger, if you're angry for standing up for being righteous with money in the house of God, is right. But when it comes to your own self, don't be angry. [00:16:08]
