There are unseen spiritual realities at work in our world, influencing both personal temptations and national events, even when we cannot perceive them with our eyes. The Bible reveals that behind every temptation and act of defiance against God, there is a spiritual battle taking place, with evil forces seeking to hinder, deceive, and destroy. This is not just a personal struggle but also occurs on a larger scale, affecting nations and peoples. We are called to be alert and aware, neither dismissing the reality of spiritual warfare nor attributing every difficulty to it, but finding a balanced understanding that shapes our prayers and vigilance. [29:51]
Genesis 4:6-7 (ESV):
The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.”
Reflection: Where in your life do you sense a persistent temptation or struggle? Ask God to open your eyes to any spiritual realities behind it and to give you discernment and strength to resist.
The end times will be marked by increasing tribulation, distress, and persecution of believers, but God calls His people to stand firm and not be deceived or alarmed by the intensifying wickedness around them. Jesus warned that wars, famines, earthquakes, and false prophets would increase, and that the love of many would grow cold, but those who endure to the end will be saved. The world is not getting better, and as followers of Christ, we must prepare our hearts to remain faithful even when facing suffering or opposition for our faith. [44:28]
Matthew 24:12-13 (ESV):
“And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
Reflection: In what ways do you see your love for God or others being challenged by the increasing troubles or distractions of the world? What is one step you can take today to guard your heart and persevere in faith?
Those who believe in Jesus have their names written in the Book of Life, guaranteeing their inheritance and deliverance at the end of the age, even if they must endure suffering or death. This assurance is not based on our circumstances but on our new birth in Christ, which secures our eternal future. The Book of Life is God’s record of those who belong to Him, and on the day of judgment, only those whose names are found there will be delivered into everlasting life. This hope gives us courage to face whatever may come, knowing our ultimate destiny is secure. [50:29]
Daniel 12:1-2 (ESV):
“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”
Reflection: Are you confident that your name is written in the Book of Life? If not, what is holding you back from trusting in Jesus and receiving the assurance of eternal life?
God’s promise of deliverance is not always to spare us from suffering or death, but to raise us from the dead and give us new, imperishable bodies fit for eternity with Him. The resurrection is the true and final rescue for believers, far surpassing any temporary relief in this life. Even when prayers for healing or escape seem unanswered, God’s greater plan is to transform us through resurrection, so that we may live with Him forever in a new creation. This hope sustains us through trials, knowing that death is not the end but the doorway to everlasting life. [01:06:20]
John 11:25-26 (ESV):
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Reflection: How does the promise of resurrection change the way you view suffering, loss, or even death? What comfort or courage does it give you today?
Jesus deeply understands the pain and sorrow of loss, and He weeps with us in our grief, but He also has the power to call us from the grave and give us eternal life. When we face unanswered prayers or the agony of losing loved ones, we can take comfort in knowing that Jesus is moved by our suffering and stands with us in our darkest moments. Yet, He offers more than empathy—He offers hope, promising that those who trust in Him will rise again and be with Him forever. Our greatest rescue is not escape from trouble, but the assurance that Jesus will one day wipe away every tear and make all things new. [01:08:00]
Revelation 21:4 (ESV):
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Reflection: Think of a loss or sorrow you are carrying today. How can you invite Jesus into that place of pain, trusting Him to bring comfort and the hope of resurrection?
As we reach the conclusion of our journey through the book of Daniel, we are confronted with profound truths about the unseen realities that shape our world and the ultimate hope that anchors our faith. Daniel’s visions, especially in chapter 12, pull back the curtain on the spiritual battles and cosmic forces at work behind the events of history and our own lives. Just as we only see the edited version of a film, so too are we often unaware of the spiritual “behind the scenes”—angelic and demonic forces influencing nations, individuals, and even the answers to our prayers. Scripture affirms that these realities are true, even if invisible to us.
We are reminded that the world is not simply a stage for human drama, but a battleground where spiritual beings contend. Daniel’s experience of delayed answers to prayer because of spiritual opposition reveals that our prayers matter and are heard, but there are often unseen struggles that affect the timing and outcome. The Bible warns us against two extremes: denying the existence of spiritual forces or attributing every misfortune to them. Instead, we are called to a balanced awareness—recognizing the reality of spiritual warfare without falling into superstition.
As Daniel’s vision unfolds, we see that the end of the age will be marked by unprecedented tribulation, persecution, and an increase in wickedness. Jesus himself echoed these warnings, teaching that the world will not improve but will grow darker, with false messiahs and prophets performing signs to deceive even the elect. Yet, in the midst of this, there is a promise: those whose names are written in the Book of Life will be delivered—not by being spared from suffering or death, but through resurrection.
This hope of resurrection is not a consolation prize, but the ultimate victory. God’s rescue is not always to spare us from pain or death, but to transform us through it, granting us new, imperishable bodies fit for the new creation He will bring. Jesus’ own tears at the tomb of Lazarus show us that He understands our grief and loss, but His power to call the dead to life assures us that death is not the end. Our inheritance is secure, not in this world, but in the life to come. In the face of tribulation, we are called to steadfast faith, knowing that our hope rests in the God who raises the dead.
Daniel 12:1-3 (ESV) — > “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”
Matthew 24:9-13 (ESV) — > “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”
John 11:32-44 (ESV) — > (Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead; Jesus weeps with Mary and Martha.)
Michael is not under your command. That means you cannot tell Michael what to do. Only God can tell him what to do. Somebody say amen. Amen. We do not pray to Michael. He's an angel, just like a servant of God. He's not in charge. God is the only one authorized to tell him what to do, to give him a task. We do not pray to Michael. We do not pray to angels. You cannot find anything in the Bible that you can pray or you should pray to angels. [00:39:22] (34 seconds) #OnlyGodCommandsAngels
Tribulation is not just you're stressed out because you have so many problems. Tribulation refers to persecution of believers to the point of death. That's tribulation. Tribulation. When you are fighting with your neighbors, that's not tribulation. When you're battling sickness, that's not tribulation. When you are being persecuted for the name of Christ, that is tribulation. [00:42:21] (25 seconds) #TrueTribulationDefined
Even if people who claim to be Jesus can perform miracles, there will be false Messiah, false Jesus who will perform miracles, who will heal the sick, who can speak in tongues and change the weather. I don't care. It doesn't prove anything. The Bible says, Jesus himself says, there will be false Messiah who will perform signs in order to deceive. See, miracles alone do not prove anything. [00:48:54] (32 seconds) #MiraclesDontProveTruth
God will not rescue us by sparing our lives god will rescue us through the resurrection the way we understand rescue is always before the accident before death before sickness before so and so but the idea of god's rescue is different the idea of god's rescue is the resurrection of the dead there will be a rescue but it's not the way we think. [00:58:33] (26 seconds) #RescueThroughResurrection
Why is resurrection a much better option for everyone why not just being spared of our lives because yes god can spare our lives but we will get sick we'll grow old and we will die again it's the same thing why is the resurrection a much better option because this physical body is not meant for this world and this world is not meant to continue forever. [01:04:59] (26 seconds) #ResurrectionBetterThanLife
This world we live in though perfect when god created it was not meant to be our final destination our physical bodies are not meant to stay here for eternity where where are we meant to be with the lord if you read the last two chapters of the book of revelation it will you will read the most fascinating verses ever about the new heaven and the new earth that god will recreate the earth he will destroy this earth because but he will recreate the earth that suits our heavenly bodies that will suit the resurrection bodies that you don't need to you don't need oxygen to breathe you don't need food because you will not grow hungry that kind of resurrection stuff now think about jesus body after he was resurrected from the dead that kind of body is that we will have. [01:06:05] (59 seconds) #NewHeavenNewEarth
He was weeping because he knew the agony of losing someone he understood the pain and sorrow of losing someone you love he understood and he wept because he know that people like us ordinary people have no other way to reverse death we are hopeless and helpless in the face of death he knew that he wept because he understood us so think about this if you follow jesus if you love him if you have dedicated all your life to him and then we die and then we just stay dead that is tragedy where's the rescue in that that's why i'm saying the best rescue is the resurrection from the dead that's the best rescue.
