#ChristAlone
“Jesus is the one who was crucified for their sake and for yours. It is by his death on the cross that our guilt is paid for. It is by his resurrection that we are brought to eternal life. His and no one else. Not Paul, not Apollos, not Peter, not Josh, not Stacy, not Jay. It is by baptism in Christ's that we identify ourselves publicly with Christ and with the global family of faith, one people of God throughout history.”

#BeyondChurchLabels
“Christians love breaking down into labels. Calvinist, Arminian, charismatic, cessationist, Premillennial, Postmillennial, Republican, Democrat, Methodist, Presbyterian. We love breaking down into labels and treating other Christians worshiping the same Christ who've been washed by the blood of the same lamb as if they're suspect because they use raised bread instead of a wafer for communion, because they sprinkle baptized instead of dunking, because they voted for Kamala Harris instead of Trump. What would Paul say if he saw the church today? Unity, unity, unity.”

#OneBodyInChrist
“He raised us to life in him, not as many little groups, not as Jews over here, Gentiles over here, Reformed over here, Arminians over here, but as one body, one bride, one people, one church. This is the gospel of grace that Paul was called to preach. This is the gospel of grace that demands a response from you and from me, that calls us to surrender every other crown and allegiance and identity. This is the gospel of grace that a guy like Crispus left behind all of that, all power and respect and authority to join. This is the gospel that brings dead men to life.”
