31s
“So it makes us Lutheran to be honest about ourselves. We make mistakes. We say we're sorry, and we rejoice that in Christ it's all forgiven. You know God's amazing love for you. You know what he's done for you. We rejoice over that. That's all by the blood of Christ we are forgiven. It's all by what Christ has done for us. We are justified. We're declared not guilty. And because of Jesus, salvation is our home. We rejoice over that message.”
38s
“If we don't, we risk leading people away from Christ like Peter was doing here. If we don't, it's so important in a marriage. If we don't, your spouse could be hardened in their sin. If we don't correct our kids and discipline them, they could walk away from from Jesus and and leave them in the past. If we don't call out our Christian Christian brothers and sisters in Christ, they could be be slowly and slowly drifting away from God and his word and and his sacrament. It's hard. Do the hard work of Christian love.”
25s
“Finding joy when a brother or sister repents and rejoice with all the angels in heaven when that happens. Finding confidence to know that in Christ, we have salvation, and we get to be the people to lead people lead them there as well through God's word and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Do the hard work of Christian love. It's so important.”
