1. "When we hear those songs that they sang today. I just want to encourage us all. I want to encourage my own self. Just know this is what's beautiful about true. Worship songs, Christian music. That they're not just songs that are intended to make you feel good emotionally and in your feelings and give you goosebumps. They're songs that are true. Especially the last two songs for me just really spoke to my heart. So can I encourage you today to think on those lyrics?"

2. "He gives us an opportunity to come and to be forgiven. In a lot of prisons where they have the death penalty, you could be alive. But if you're on death row, you're called a dead man walking. And it's the same concept, the same principle, the same reality. For a person that does not know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. For the person that's not in Christ. We're going to talk a little bit about that in Christ. They're not saved. They don't know him. They're not following him. They haven't come to accept him. They haven't believed on him according to the scriptures. That person is, in fact, a dead man walking."

3. "We should take sin very seriously. Because it is, in fact, a serious thing. I think sometimes any one of us, any one of us, in any given moment, we can kind of sleep on sin. One of the realest quotes that I've ever heard or read in my life was this. Some of you heard it. Pretty popular quote. But hear me out. Sin will take you farther than you want to go. Keep you longer than you want to stay. And cost you more than you want to pay. There's a lot of people in here that say amen to that. Because we've been there. We've been sucked into that."

4. "Sin entered in and marred creation as we know it. Being born into sin with a fallen nature. We don't have to learn how to be sinful. My son is 10 months old. I'm not going to have to teach him or show him how to be sinful. It comes to us natural. Because it is very natural. It's part of our natural sinful flesh. Sarcs. Not our skin and bones. Sarcs. The natural side of humanity that is in complete rebellion against God and his holiness. His will and his law."

5. "If we were just real with our own selves. It's not about faking in front and no one else or trying to impress anyone else. If we were just real with our own selves, and self-reflected, and each one of us asked ourselves, does this honor God? Is this Christ-like? Does this glorify my Lord and Savior? Does this reflect the holiness and sanctification that I'm called to walk in? I am convinced, and as I wrote this out, I really sat with it. I said, I said, Josh, that's good. I'm going to hold on to that for myself."

6. "I believe if the consequences of sin, of our own sin, were dealt to us immediately, man, I guarantee you, we wouldn't sleep on it. Ain't no way. We would be that much more conscious of it. A fallen world, marred by sin, because of that very thing, sin. It's ugly. It's nasty. It destroys. Numerous marriages running through my mind just when I say that of marriages I've seen destroyed because of sin. Think of a few brothers that I once labored with very closely that fell into sin, the sin of sexual immorality and infidelity and destroyed their whole family."

7. "Sin is like a long chain. It's long enough to make a person think that they're free. But the reality is it's still a chain, and it still has you locked into it. And at the end of the day, the fact would be that you're really not free. How many of us in here or online may be able to recognize that we got some chains on us? We're free-ish. But I want you to know, that the Bible says the truth shall make you free. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. Man, I could tell you as a Christian, and because of what the Bible says, he wants you free entirely. No bondage. No yokes. No chains."

8. "We got to take it serious because it is. We know Romans 6.23 tells us that the wages, the price of sin is death. That right there. If there was only one scripture that told us, or gave us any insight or teaching about sin, I mean, for me, that would be good. That would be enough. That's sufficient for me. The price of this is death. That's a heavy price tag. That's a big price tag. That's expensive."

9. "The thrill of sin is never worth it. I guarantee you there's, at least it's got to be, I'm 95% of the people in here, maybe 100% if everyone was completely honest and transparent, I would say I agree with that. If you don't agree with nothing else I said, I don't know how anyone, even an atheist, could disagree with that. The thrill of sin is never worth it. There's always some type of consequence, man. But he is worthy and he is worth it all. And sin can be so subtle."

10. "When he saves you, he changes you. He loves you that much. Let me tell you something for every visitor member. If you're here, you're online. I can say this on behalf of the church. The church that I serve in, Reach City, you're not alone. You don't have to do it alone. You don't have to fight alone. I know that sin can be shameful. I know that people are dealing with things where even sometimes they want to be held accountable and they want freedom. And they know that chain got them. But it's shameful. So they just kind of deal with it."
