Understanding Revelation: A Call to Closer Fellowship
Summary
In my sermon, I discussed the Book of Revelation, its complexities, and its significance to our faith. I began by acknowledging that the Book of Revelation is often difficult to understand, even for seasoned believers. However, I emphasized that it is an inspired book of the Bible, and therefore, it holds valuable lessons for us. I delved into the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelation, highlighting their representation of all churches over the last 2,000 years. I also touched on the prophetic visions in the book, including the lamb breaking seven seals, the seven angels blowing seven trumpets, and the vision of a new Heaven and a new Earth.
In the second part of the sermon, I focused on the purpose of the Book of Revelation. I believe that it is given to us to draw us closer to Jesus and to encourage us to invite others to Him. I emphasized the repeated call to "come" in Revelation 22, interpreting it as an invitation to salvation and fellowship with Jesus. I concluded the sermon by urging listeners to respond to this call, especially in light of current world events.

Quotes
1. "If you are going through some suffering, it's only a test. Jesus is the one who determines how long you're going to suffer. The devil doesn't have control over that. Jesus has control over how long you are going to be in this season. There is a limit to the suffering, you're not always going to suffer. You're just in a season and it's going to end. You're not going to die, you're going to make it." - 55:17
2. "Now is the day of salvation. Don't put it off even for the rest of the day. It's now. I'm going to make an altar call right here right now for anybody that needs to hear now, come." - 01:04:44
3. "If you prayed that prayer, I want you to stand up. I want you to be willing to say I'm standing up for Jesus now. He came into my life because of the prayer that I prayed." - 01:08:06
4. "I am the first and the last. I am the living one. I died but look, I am alive forever and ever and I hold the keys of death and the grave." - 51:58
5. "The seven churches represent all churches. You could actually study those seven churches and compare them to our church and determine which one of the seven is like our church. Not only can you do that for our church as a whole but you could do that for you yourself as an individual." - 51:58
