Israel's expectations of a political Messiah led them to miss Jesus, who came to fulfill a greater spiritual purpose.

By aligning our expectations with God's promises, we can find peace and fulfillment in His plan. This requires us to immerse ourselves in Scripture, understand His character, and trust in His timing.
