"Prophecy to me is kind of like a mosaic that you know the Bible speaks of prophecy from Genesis to Revelation. There are... we assemble the pieces of prophecy together and we come up with an idea or a theology or a viewpoint, and so that's how I see prophecy." [00:05:06]

"Prophecy is like connecting the dots and so prophecy is not an easy thing to study. When I teach in Bible colleges, I always tell my students, 'Hey, the challenging thing about prophecy is that it hasn't happened yet.' So we studied the Bible like Paul told Timothy, 'Study to show yourself approved.'" [00:06:24]

"Prophecy really requires a lot of extra work for us, and then we assemble the pieces and then we put it together and we say this is what we believe about the future according to the Bible, and it's based on this and this and this. We can't just say we have an eschatological viewpoint or a prophetic viewpoint based upon emotions." [00:06:40]

"It's a challenging study. I don't say that as a way of excusing myself or excusing any one of us. It's just a challenging study, so there's no point, there's no reason for disagreement that leads to kind of contention or anger or name-calling." [00:08:47]

"If we can agree to disagree agreeably, give one another grace, but also not be lazy in our attitudes about prophecy, that we need to really study and show ourselves approved. And if you have a viewpoint, you need to be able to defend it, all the while accepting the fact that there are some good other people out there." [00:09:10]

"Revelation chapter 12, my take on it is this: that we are at the midpoint of the Great Tribulation period. It says this, and I'll read it and just make some very brief comments, just try to frame it and try to give us a little bit of a perspective." [00:12:24]

"We believe that this woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of 12 stars, it says then in verse 2, being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. So we believe that this isn't Mary, the mother of Jesus, that this is a description of the nation of Israel giving birth to her Messiah." [00:17:18]

"The Apostle Paul is talking to some of the Corinthians who aren't sure about the resurrection of the dead. They want to know how is it going to happen, what's it going to look like, when is it going to happen. One of the things that Paul says to the Corinthian church, he says, 'Don't you know that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God?'" [00:21:07]

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, the dead in Christ will rise, and then we shall be changed. The Apostle Paul says the same thing in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4: the dead in Christ will rise first, and we who are alive and remain shall be changed and taken to heaven with them." [00:22:39]

"During the Great Tribulation period, many people will come to Jesus Christ and be saved. Many of them will lose their lives, but at the end of the Great Tribulation period, there will be just plain old humans that survive those seven years, and those plain old humans will enter into the millennial reign of Christ." [00:45:30]

"Jesus will be ruling from Jerusalem, and we will be assigned areas just like there's national government. We have Washington, DC, then there's governors in the state, and there are mayors and councilmen and assemblymen. I just think about how politics is arranged in the levels of politics, and people have their different responsibilities." [00:48:01]

"Father, thank you, Lord, that we were able to finish this up. Thank you. I once again pray for Pastor David and his wife and Galil. We pray for Enduring Word. Thank you for the work that you're doing, all the translations, all the places that the Word of God is going out to and the commentary that you've given Pastor David." [00:50:11]
