48s
“``Here comes the underestimating. It started in the garden. You will be like God. Wait a minute. Aren't they already like God? Weren't they already created in his image and in his likeness? They were already like God. They were given authority over the earth. My goodness. They were given an entire planet to manage, and to rule, and to fill up, and to reproduce, and make people that look like them, and were like them, and behave like them because they were all in the image of God. They already what they needed to have, and here comes this demonic serpent to convince them, you're not enough.”

“Scripture is full of men and women who were underestimated but did amazing things because God said they could, and he equipped them to do so. So let's work on not underestimating what God says we can do and who sees who he says we are. Let's get to the place spiritually and naturally where we think and say, if God said do it, I can do it.”

“And so can we bring this home? What kind of God will send you out to be ambushed, messed up, and and destroyed for something that he asked you to do? That's not who we serve. And it's not that we don't trust god. We don't trust ourselves. We don't we don't believe in ourselves enough. But come on, people. If god believes in us that much to send us forth, then we gotta start believing it too, and it may not be a right away feeling. We gotta talk to ourselves. We gotta tell ourselves. We gotta acknowledge. Come on, self. Come on, Carol. Uh-uh. God said you could do this. Come on. I know you've never done it before. I know it's hard. I know it looks crazy. I know it even sounds crazy. But if God said do it, I can do it. We can do it. We can handle it. We can make it work. We can make it happen. We have to stop underestimating ourselves.”
42s
“Don't let the voices tear us down because today, god wants to give us the relational, emotional, spiritual boost we need and to remind us to not underestimate ourselves. See, it's okay to know who you are what you're capable of. That's not vanity. That's not vain. That's not arrogant. Now you can make it arrogant, but that's not the intent. What it is that you have to offer is good. It's amazing. Don't hide it.”
