#ChangeYourRoots
“In order to change who you are, you need to change what you're listening to. You need to change what you're being influenced by. In order to change who you are, you need to change the soil that you've dug your roots down deep into. And we could we could dig our roots down into the soil of the world, the philosophy of the world, or we could dig our roots down into the soil of the word of God.”

#RootedToWitness
“Lord, may I be grateful for your sacrifice. Lord, may I live different because of your sacrifice. Lord, may I surround myself with those who keep me on the path of righteousness. Lord, may I dig my roots deep into your word and dig my roots deep into you, not so I can stand among the people of the world and proclaim, look at me and how perfect I am and righteous I am, but so that way I can be a tree planted in you, grounded in you, rooted in you, so I can tell the world about the sacrifice that Christ made for them.”

#ChooseYourSoil
“The flip side of that, the righteous who have planted their roots in the word of God. They've planted their roots in Jesus Christ. They've planted their roots in the path of righteousness. It says in verse six, for the lord watches over the righteous. The lord will be with us on the day of judgment. The lord will bear our lord has bear born our judgment. He has on Jesus Christ when he was crucified for us, taken our punishment. And that is the only way and the only reason that we are able to stand on the day of judgment. The question here is which soil are you planting your life into today? Which path are you walking down today?”

#RootInJesusWord
“The other way that I see Christ in this passage, and certainly, again, there there are more than just these two things. Jesus is the word made flesh. The the the psalmist says his delight is in the Lord's instruction. The word of God is Jesus. He he is flesh. And what is the implication of that? I need to dig my roots as deep into Jesus Christ as I possibly can because he's the only thing that's keeping me on the path of righteousness.”
