For every house is built by someone, but he who built all things is God. If you look at the word, the one who builds is in past tense; he built it already before the foundation of the world. He laid the expanse of the world, he laid out your life, he designed your life even before you were created. [00:42:16]

Things do not just happen; things are made to happen. The fairy tales that we talk about, that we fantasize, do not just happen. They are orchestrated by people, and people too do not just happen. People don't just arrive on the scene like we think. We look at some people and say, "Oh, that man is lucky." [00:45:00]

The Bible here says a house is built; it does not just magically appear. The house is built. When Moses built the Tabernacle in the wilderness, it took time. In fact, the Bible says that in Exodus chapter 25:40, God told him, "I want you to build it according to the pattern that I showed you way up there in heaven." [00:48:06]

There are things in your life that people do not see. There are things in your life that are foundational, and many times we focus on the external. We do not think about the internal because that is the way the human mind works. We look at the glitter, we look at the glamour, and we chase that. [00:50:44]

The rain that came on the house on the rock is the same rain that came on the house on the sand. There's no difference. You see, there are certain things in life where you cannot be exempt. The turbulence, the winds, the opposition, the trials, the adversities of life—they come to all. [00:52:24]

God takes time. When God is doing something, it takes time. When God is working in your life, it takes time. I know some of you right now are in a hurry. You've been complaining, "God, I should have been married 5 years ago." You had your own calendar, you drew your own agenda. [00:54:31]

Joseph was 17, a young 17-year-old man, young 17-year-old boy, when God gave him the revelation. He saw the stars bowing down before him. He saw the moon and the sun bowing them before him. Joseph was a dreamer, so he could interpret the dreams. [00:57:59]

The Bible says that Joseph, God was with him, and Joseph became a successful man. When I read that passage in Genesis chapter 39, I asked myself, how could Joseph have been a successful man? Successful in what? Genesis 39:2, he was a successful man, and yet he was in the house of his master. [01:07:12]

Sometimes you can tell where you are going by the people who surround you per time, not the people you choose, but the people whom God compels to come into your life. Am I talking to somebody? You just see some people coming into your life, and you're wondering how come I met this person. [01:08:39]

God is working on your life. God is building a foundation. God is preparing you for your dream. God is preparing you for your future. There's no way you will move from point zero to point destination. There is a time of preparation. God takes time. God is working in your life. [01:11:29]

Growing does not... growing takes time. Growing is not instantaneous. Growing takes time. You move gradually, steadily, painstakingly, sometimes discouragingly, but you're growing. Jesus, the son of God, he grew. Would you grow? Are you willing to go through the process of growing? [01:13:10]

At the end of the day, whatever will happen in your life will happen because of God. It will happen because of God. God is the one that works in you to will and to do of his pleasure. Let God do it. You don't have to understand the pieces. You don't have to understand the mystery. [01:14:20]
