It's easy to sit there and say, well, just trust in God. Just do it. Just figure out a way. But then you hit a wall or you hit a difficulty in life. Or you, how do I place my trust in God? Because over time, you see this God that we read about in the Bible, this God that created the world, this God that loves you and I so much that he would send his son to die, he cares about us. And even when we don't quite feel him, we keep placing our trust in him. [00:04:30] (41 seconds)  #FaithBeyondFeelings

In moments of uncertainty where we think we know what we're doing is the right thing, but we run into red blocks, we run into roadblocks, we run into things that we didn't expect to be there, we have to trust that God will lead the way. [00:06:21] (15 seconds)  #TrustGodsUnexpectedPaths

Ruth easily could have gone back home. Ruth easily could have done what Naomi said and just, she chose what she felt in her gut was right. She allowed her trust in God to be there, for God to lead the way for her. [00:07:03] (18 seconds)  #PrayForGodsWisdom

Trust in God for wisdom. When we're asking for what it is to do the next thing, we ask for prayer requests. Often there are things that are in our lives that we're concerned with today. Why do we ask for prayer for them? Not so that we can showboat around that these are the things happening in our lives. It's so that we can hear. Hear from God what His wisdom is so that our fellow brothers and sisters can pray with us. [00:09:32] (28 seconds)  #FollowGodsGuidance

Pray to God for wisdom. Pray to God for Him to guide us. As we're going through, pray that God goes with us. Pray that God leads the way that we're following in His footsteps, not our own, and that He gives us the wisdom to choose the right thing when the right thing presents itself. [00:10:11] (21 seconds)  #PeaceThroughFaith

God told him through an angel, go take this particular path. It's hot. It's the desert. It's during the daytime. Not super highly traveled road. It's not exactly like 490. But you would want to pass for you to be in front of the nation together, or anything like that. It's a little back road on the way. And Philip doesn't say, well, why would I do that? I'm just gonna take the normal path. He doesn't just go and do the things that he wants to do. He listens to what the angel says to him. [00:15:56] (35 seconds)  #ImmediateFaithAction

Philip went and he spoke with him, he interpreted the scriptures presenting who Jesus was and when the man asked to be baptized to be a follower of who Jesus is He didn't say, ah, no, we got classes for that. Turn your carriage around, we'll go back to the temple. We'll get you all circumcised and all figured out. We'll figure out the plan, and then we'll baptize you later. He says, okay, there's water right there. You believe in who Jesus is, you want to be a follower of him, let's go. [00:19:42] (45 seconds)  #JoyInFollowingJesus

Continuously, over and over, place our faith in God. Trust that He goes with you. Trust that He will lead you in the right paths. Ask Him for wisdom so we can share that wisdom to the world. In times of turmoil, ask Him for peace. [00:21:37] (24 seconds)  #PeaceInHisWord

So much of what the world sees of Christianity is that it's just a big book of rules and it's regulations and it's all meant to keep you down. and truly what the gospel is is it's meant to give you a life that is found in God it's to free us of the bondage of this life to free us that we can have joy in all circumstances not because of who we are but because of who God is.
