Life is life—it's uncertain. The only thing certain in this life is its uncertainty, and we understand that life does not hardly ever go as we plan. But even when things are chaotic, we have to put our trust in God and trust in Him.

If you want God to be your source of peace, the world cannot be your source of satisfaction. You cannot walk in the way of sin and follow God, because they are going in two different directions.

Obedience is following God's plan for your life, even when it doesn't make sense. Sometimes our detours in life are to avoid a situation that God doesn't want us in the middle of.

Knowing what you're supposed to do and doing it is two different things. Knowing God's word and living God's word are two totally different things.

Sometimes His purpose for our life makes our life make no sense at all. But God intended it for good, to accomplish what is now being done.

If you know you're living for God and serving God, then God's got you. Even when it doesn't make sense, you have to trust that He's working all things for your good.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart means not a partial trust, not a trust on occasion, but complete dependence on God. Sometimes we want to step in and try and do something instead of waiting patiently for the Lord.

Faith is not only believing God can, but it's knowing that He will—in His time and in His way. We always want God to do it our way, but that's not the way He is. He's the King of Kings, not the Burger King.

The problem with human understanding is we're affected by perspective, by time, and emotion. Sometimes our own understanding, what we think is going on, is not really going on at all.

Sometimes our emotions and feelings, when we're in a situation, can deceive us into thinking something different—that God might not be in control. Let me just share with you: even if it's out of your control, it's never out of God's control. [00:53:21]

The way you navigate through this life is you trust the instruments of God to get you through it. We don't live by feelings and emotions because those will throw you way off of what reality is going on. [00:57:03]

God has a path for your life, but here's the problem: it also says, comparing to our thoughts, His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. [00:58:25]

God never promises us smooth sailing in this world, but He promises us He will be with us every step of the way, and that's what we need to focus on. [01:08:11]

He does not say, "I will make your path easy." He does not say, "I will make the path fast." But He does say you'll be on the right path. It may be full of holes, full of potholes, full of twists and turns on a mountain road full of fog, but that's the path He has for you. [01:34:09]

If God is your pilot, you may face turbulence and fog, but He's still flying the plane. He knows where the runway is, He knows the destination of your purpose, and it doesn't mean it's going to be the smoothest flight, but He's the pilot and we trust Him. [01:36:10]

I'm okay with not knowing everything, not understanding why something happens in certain situations. I just got to trust God because I know He's with me. [01:37:11]

If you want God to bring peace in your life, He has to be the source of everything in your life. You can't expect God to be peace in your life when you turn to the world for your satisfaction and things. [01:37:51]

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord Himself is the rock eternal that we build our lives on—not a shaky foundation. [01:38:05]
