“``I'm convinced that they still had some faith in their heart because they were walking with Jesus. They were listening to Jesus, and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I'm convinced that they still had some faith in their heart, but Jesus was trying to call attention to them. Hey, even though you got it, you gotta choose it. Even though you got it, you gotta choose it. And and we gotta we gotta come to the realization that faith becomes dangerous when it starts to lead us, when it starts to speak to us, when it when it starts to interpret things for us or control us. Trust does not mean faith never knocks or fear never knocks on your door. Trust does not mean that fear never knocks on your door. Trust means that fear does not get to drive your car. Trust does not mean will not knock on your door, but trust means you will not let it in and allow it to drive your life. You can you can feel fear and still trust god. Amen. You can feel fear and still trust god.”

“That's why it's so important to have a word. If we talk like family this morning, the reason why many Christians don't get their prayers answered and the reason why many Christians don't see the power of god explode in their life is because they don't have a word. They have wishful thinking. Like, they they they hope god is gonna do something but they they've never really taken the time to dig into god's word and allow the holy spirit to illuminate a word into their life and so in reality, they're not standing on nothing. They're just wishful thinking. But the moment you get a word from the lord, it will strengthen your spirit. It will strengthen your mind. It will be used as a bullet so that when all hell is released into your life, you can fight back the devil in Jesus' name.”

“Trust means confidence in the character, in the word, in the presence, and in the power of god. That's what trust is. It's confidence in the word, the character, the presence, and the power god. When I say confidence in the character of god, I mean that you have the strength in the midst of a storm to be able to declare god is a good god. God is a worthy god. God is a caring god. God is a loving god. Why? You're you're having confidence in who god is.”

“Let me give you some perspective on the silence of god. I have learned that sometimes god is silent because he is waiting for you to obey the last thing that he taught you. Sometimes god is silent is because he's waiting for you to obey the last thing that he taught you. He's already given you a word. He's already given you revelation. He's already given you instruction, and now it's time for you to live that out. The challenge with our generation is we always want something new. We always want something new. We want we want a new shoes. We want new clothes. We want a new job. We want a new car. We want a new word. We want a new dream. And sometimes god remains silent because he says, you haven't obeyed what I already taught you to do.”
