#CrownOfLife
“``God doesn't want us to fear death. You know why? Because he already beat it. He rose on that third day. So the last part of this verse is so powerful when he says we will have eternal life. He will give us the crown of life. Right? Be faithful to death. Again, he doesn't tell us we won't suffer, but he does promise us this. Our faithfulness is gonna result in a reward. That's something you can hold on to. Jesus, I'm having a hard time right now, but Lord, I know you have something for me. I know you've got a crown of life. I know that you're with me. I know that you're holding me tight. I know you're going to get through this with me.”

#WarIsWon
“See, the war has already been won for us, though. That's the good news. The war has already been won. Yes, we're gonna have to fight the battles, our battles, our battles as a church, our battles as a society, but when we give our life to Jesus, we can trust him because we have peace. The fruit of the spirit, right? We have peace, love, joy, peace. Not fleeting, not it's here today and down here tomorrow. We have peace. We can walk in knowing that our Jesus has already won the war.”

#GodIsInControl
“That struggle, it will not last forever. That sickness, it will not last forever. The children getting on your last nerve, that will not last forever. So we have to remember, even in the God bless you. Even in those situations, God is in control. God is in control. Even in our suffering, even when you're going through the hard times, people say, well, where was God? He's right there. He's right here. Sometimes he's got my back because I just can't stand up anymore, but he's with me always. you have to think about Job. God gave clear definition of what could happen. There was a beginning and an end, and when he told him there was one thing he could not do, and that was take his life. It was very clear, very clear. So satan may tempt, he may test, he may cause us to suffer, there may be pain, but the good news is he has no power over our eternal destiny. God is still in control.”

#StandForJesus
“See, and the devil uses fear as a weapon. Fear of suffering, fear of loss, fear of rejection, fear of death. Again, I can't imagine standing up here and renouncing why all of you were on the other side. But that's what they did. Again, so important who we surround ourselves with. Look at how they stuck together, how they stood on God's word and did not give in to the pressure to say, I love the emperor, or I'm Jewish. They said, no, Jesus is my king. I worship the son of God. They said, I love Jesus more than I love myself and my life. I am willing to suffer for him. Are we willing to do that?”
