#ListenToGodsPlan
“``And what happens here is what he's trying to say is what are you going to listen to? You put your headphones on. What you really should be listening to is god's plan that he has something greater for you. And, yes, it doesn't make sense, but you gotta trust and listen to that. Or do you listen to the world? But here's what also can happen with this. We'll listen to the wrong thing. And if there's anything here I want you to hear this morning, you know what the greatest danger The greatest danger is coming to church, opening the bible, and reading it, listening to it, and thinking it's always for somebody else.”

#StopVictimMentality
“You see how that can work? You read the bible, and you're like, man, I've been wronged. You read the bible, you hear the message. It's for that person. You know, this this person no. Nope. It's their fault. There's no piece of it that I need to own. What happens is we are products of our environment of this world, and our world is breeding victims. It's somebody else's fault. I'm the victim. And before you know it, that victim mentality becomes your identity, and it creates who you are. But really, the very idea of theology and this this belief and this gospel in Jesus is taking personal responsibility.”

#ReleaseResentment
“The world will tell you you're a victim. And if you're not careful coming into the church and listening to every message and reading every word of of the bible and saying, yep. This is for that person. But what David is saying here, he said, don't be angry. The worst thing you could do is let that resentment rot your heart from the inside out, to take everything and point it at at everybody else.”

#BeStillTrustGod
“Now here's the deal. I have failed this moment so many times in my life. So I'm sitting in the same chair as you guys where there's so many moments I speak first and don't wait. I am quick to fight and argue because I've been innocent, but what God sometimes tries to teach us is he has a greater plan. Even though evil people have their plans, even though you are justified to say something, sometimes god is just saying be still and know that I'm god. Wait patiently because this is how you trust Trusting god means being still.”
