#GodsBeenWorking
“Church, we love the burning bush, but we forget that there would never have been a burning bush without a basket, without a Nile River, without a palace, without the waiting, without tears, without questions. You see, the burning bush was not the beginning of God's work in Moses' life. It was simply the first time Moses noticed it. Maybe, just maybe, God's been working in your life a lot longer than you realized it. Maybe even when you were away from him. Maybe even when you didn't love him. While we were still the enemies of God, God demonstrated his love towards us that by sending his son Jesus. Maybe today, God is reminding you that he's working.”

#PreparedFromTheStart
“And can I tell you a secret this morning? God is working even when I can't see him working. God is working even when you can't see him working. Moses' story doesn't start with a burning bush. We see God was preparing him all the way from the beginning, even at his birth. Can I remind you that from your beginning, God was preparing you for a purpose? And when I can't understand what's God is doing, I can still trust who God is. God's purpose is often hidden inside circumstances that seem to make no sense.”

#TrustGodInTheWhy
“Everyone eventually asks God a why question. Why the sickness? Why the heartbreak? Why the injustice? Why this job? Why now? Why me? Why this family? Why this pain? And the hardest questions in life always start with the word why. You search to find reason for meaning and purpose in those difficult circumstances and unjust decisions and unreasonable people. And where there's no good answer, it forces some very difficult decisions in our life. And here's two of them. Will you trust god in spite of those circumstances? Or will you walk away believing that god cannot be trusted?”
