#MoneyIsATool
“But Chris is singing this and he's really striking a a chord in our hearts. Now look, here's what I need you to understand is money is useful. Money in itself is not evil. It can accomplish good things. It can meet real needs in people's lives. It's a it's a great tool that god has given us but money can't make you happy and it will not fill that void deep down in your soul. Money is is is a wonderful tool but it is an awful god. It doesn't have the ability to offload the brokenness of your life that has been created by sin. Money can't save you. It can't bring salvation.”

#GiveWithGrace
“Don't defend your lifestyle. Surrender. Grace doesn't mean that God expects less from us but grace means that everything I have belongs to him. The New Testament teaches that we should give intentionally. We should give consistently. We should give in proportionate to what has been given to us. We should give willingly. We should give cheerfully and we should give sacrificially for the advancement of the kingdom of god and the work of god.”

#GenerosityMatters
“It's not about the percentage. It's about our generosity. It's about where our heart is. It's about where our treasure is. It's about what has our eyes, what has our attention, what has our passion. What's the priority in our life? Is it Jesus? Is it God's kingdom? Or is it your kingdom? You can't serve two masters. Either you will hate one and despise the other. Jesus is dealing with our heart, not our pocketbook, our hearts.”

#MoneyRevealsTrust
“And in this passage, Jesus is is talking about money but he's not raising money for a project. He's not trying to redo the worship center. You know, he's not trying to start a new work in liberty. Jesus is actually talking about money and he is revealing something about the human heart and this is deeply personal because when Jesus is speaking about money, he's basically saying this is not just about money. Money is about trust. How we earn it, how we spend it, how we save it, how we lose it, how we fear losing it, how we choose to give is a demonstration of where our trust really lies.”
