#GospelSubstitution
“We also serve a God perfectly just, but he's also perfectly loving, meaning he provided a way for that punishment to be placed upon or to fall upon Jesus instead of us. Think about that for a moment. Jesus can bear the wrath of God for us if we would trust in him. The old testament says the cup symbolizes God's righteous judgment again judgment against sin. Humanity deserves that cup. Jesus, the innocent one, he stands in as a substitute taking the cup so we wouldn't have to. Think about it man. This is the gospel.”

#FaceTrialsInFaith
“Because Jesus endured Gethsemane and the cross, fear does not have the final word brothers and sisters. So whatever you're facing today, don't run from God. Run to God. Bring your burden to him in prayer and surrender to his will. So how do you face trial without fear? Ma'am we pray. We walk in obedience and say God not my will but yours. We trust your providence and your sovereignty. We surrender our weakness to him and we reckon not upon our own ability but upon the strength of our Lord. It's amazing what the Lord can do through a life that is surrendered to him.”
