35s
“But before God can direct your path, you must first be willing to take the first step. It is not a test of intelligence. It is not a test of popularity. That first test is not a test of opportunity. The first test is always a test of faith. Faith is believing before you see a thing. It is trusting before you understand. It is moving before you have all the answers.”
52s
“But the test, as I said, are not over. It just simply means that the classroom has changed. See, life has a way of examining us and testing us over and over again. But life doesn't hand out report cards. It doesn't post your grades online, but every season of life will come with another test. Life will test your faith. It will test your identity. It will test your perseverance. It will test your vision, and it will test your gratitude. But unlike school, life often gives us tests before it teaches us the lesson.”
51s
“first test in life will give you the test of faith. The question is, can you move before you know everything? Can you obey before you understand? See, sometimes, God just wants us to take the first step. He wants us to trust that even though I don't see the second step, if I just take that first step, God is gonna provide for the second step. So young people, when this test comes, because it will come, and when your faith is tested, you gotta know that God has already provided. Because God never promised to explain everything to us, did he? He promised to do what? Direct your path.”
69s
“Alright. Test number three, and I'm almost finished. So I know who I am. Right? I have my book and my cheat sheet, but there is yet another test. Test number three is the test of perseverance. How do I prepare for perseverance? I'm on to you in trust. I wanna understand that adversity is part of the process. See, when I when I am tested through the test of perseverance, if I already know that this is just part of the process, it's not a challenge. It's not a roadblock. It's not a dead end. This is God developing me. This is him strengthening me. This is him making me stronger. These are not setbacks. This is a set up for greatness. So if I look at it in that manner, I will pass the third test.”
