#GodDoesIt
“``The question isn't what do you do. The question is, what does God do Amen. When we are between the rock and the hard place. And I've learned we've spent so much of our lives with a Western understanding of problem solving. The West understands that we are the source of all knowledge, that if we look within long enough, we can find a way through. The enlightenment was all about finding knowledge and wisdom and sources of understanding from within. And God said, I never designed you to have all the answers. Somebody missed that. God said, I did not breathe my breath into you so that you would have the answers I have. Amen. I breathed my breath into you so that you would be a part of me but not me.”

#LayItAtHisFeet
“Because when you understand that this is not about us but it's about god, it releases us of trying to figure it all out. Amen. Now, that's good news to some of us who know we've been trying to figure out some stuff and get nowhere. Yes. How many of you know there's some stuff you've been racking your brain about, thinking about, researching, talking to everybody that you could talk to about, and you still haven't figured out how to get through it. But all praise be to God that it's not our responsibility to get through it. It's god's responsibility to get through it. So if we can't figure it out, it's not for us to figure it out. It's for us to lay it at god's feet and watch how god moves us through.”

#GodMovesRegardless
“The lesson God wants you to learn in this season is that your faith is not an exclusive determinant of God blessing you. Even if you don't believe, God's still gonna bring you through. They kicked and screamed. They fussed at Moses. They kept on fussing at Moses. Forty years of fussing, but God kept on blessing. Even when you don't believe, God's plan is not predicated on your belief. Don't think that your faith is so powerful that it tells God what to do. Don't think that God has given you that much authority that if you don't believe in him, he won't show up. God said, I'm gonna do it whether you believe or not. The only question will you learn from this one so that the next time you stand in front of a Red Sea, you don't start crying. You don't start getting bit out of shape.”

#KeepWalkingForward
“Don't you get down between that rock and hard place. Don't you define yourself by what you're going through. You say, I'm going through this right now, but I will come through it. Exodus and the story of the Israelites, and we're gonna open the doors at church. We're gonna go home in a second. But the story of the Israelites does not end chapter 14. God says this is a part. There's a whole lot more. The other side of the Red Sea has more chapters than this side. What is to come is greater than what has been. The only question is, will you walk forward,”
