#HarvestOfHope
“``God has not given up on the field. Not this world, not this congregation, not your neighbor, and certainly not you. The farmer still walks those rows. The spirit still tends that soil. Christ is still bringing life where we only see tangled growth. So don't lose heart, friends. Keep trusting. Keep growing. Keep showing grace. Because even in this messy, mixed up field, in our world, in our church, and in our own hearts, God is still growing a harvest of hope.”

#GospelInTheParable
“Because this is the gospel hidden inside of the parable. God has not given up on the field.

#GraceBeforePerfection
“If God had demanded perfection before offering love, none of us would still be standing. what looks like a weed to us may not be the whole story. And what appears strong and faithful may not be as deeply rooted as it seems. God sees what we cannot. God sees the whole field. God sees the harvest long before we do. And God's first instinct, we learn, is not removal. God's first instinct is redemption. Boy, if that is not the best news you will hear this week, I can't help you.”

#TendDontUproot
“We spend so much energy trying to identify the weeds that we forget we're called to cultivate the wheat. Some of us have been pulling weeds in our families, in our workplaces, and even in our congregation, and we've ended up uprooting people God is still tending to. So I encourage you this week to notice that instinct and then interrupt it. Do what you need to do to break that pattern because you don't have to decide who is wheat and who is weed. That's God's work. So when you feel judgment rising, try whispering a simple prayer, tend us both.”
