“``What is it called if you take the name of god upon yourself wrongfully? It's blasphemy, right? If I was to say that I am god, I'm a blasphemer. Do you know what the punishment for blasphemy was under the old covenant? You were stoned to death. So, whenever Jesus said before Abraham was and he says, I am and they pick up rocks to throw at him. They knew exactly what he meant. They knew he was making the statement that I am god and they were punishing him for what they believed to be such blasphemy and so, Jesus makes it clear in his own words. He claimed to be god.”

#FullnessInChrist
“For it pleased the father that in him should all fullness dwell. Alright, how much fullness dwells in the son? Oh, now here's the question, fullness of what? Right? Full of what? Paul picks this idea up. Colossians two, look in verse nine. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of what? The godhead bodily. All the fullness of deity that's amongst the godhead, the triune god, the father, the son, the spirit, all divinity that is found in god himself is dwelling fully in the body of Jesus Christ. So, when we read Colossians one fifteen, is Paul making the case that Jesus is a created being or is he making the case that Jesus is preeminent overall created beings? You seem a little hesitant. I'll answer for you. He's making the case. He's preeminent above all created beings.”

#JesusIsCreator
“And it becomes very clear, you cannot get around at verse one that the word was god. Now, once again, eternality is ascribed to the son. Verse two, the same was in the beginning with god. Now, if he was there in the beginning, then that means he had to be existent before the beginning, right? Amen. And so, eternality is ascribed to the son. How about Genesis one one? Yet again, in the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth, right? Who's the creator? Jehovah and yet what does verse three say? All things were made by him. Who's the him? It's the word. It's Jesus, right? All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. And so, Jesus himself is the creator. You say, but wait a minute, I thought god was the creator. Exactly. Exactly.”

#JesusAscribedIAm
“So, Moses said, if I go back, I gotta tell him the name of the god that sent me and god tells Moses what his name is. He said, I am that I am and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I am has sent me unto you and so when Jesus says in John eight fifty eight before Abraham was, I am, he is ascribing the name of Jehovah directly to himself. He is openly proclaiming that he is god and we know that that's what he meant because that's exactly how the Jews understood him. Notice what they did in verse 59. Then took they up stones to cast at him.”
