Sermon Clips

Prayer is one of the two most important spiritual disciplines you can have in your life as a believer. If there was nothing else that you did after you got saved except a Bible study and prayer, God can use those in your life to help you grow so much. [00:33:08] (17 seconds)

Prayer is a privilege that serves many functions. Praise, thanksgiving, adoration, communion, confession, complaint, supplication, intercession, and it is available to every believer. [00:33:31] (23 seconds)

When the church is engaged in meaningful prayer, and I would say not just the church, but you as an individual, when the church is engaged in meaningful prayer, it becomes both. The cause and the result of greater church health. [00:36:07] (17 seconds)

You want to grow in your faith. You want to walk closer to God. You want to start reaching people who are lost around you. Be on your knees in prayer. [00:36:32] (11 seconds)

Prayer is coming to God and saying Lord I know that this person's unsaved and I can't do anything about it would you start working in their heart and God I know that right now I can barely afford to pay my my rent my light bill or whatever else I've got going on and Lord I need you to step in financially and help me so that way I can have all the provisions and all the the needs that I I have in my life. [01:10:14] (25 seconds)

Prayer must be a consistent daily practice in the life of a believer because if it's not you're just carrying around all of this weight and the weight of God's body weight in your life every day this morning we're going to go into our time of response but before we do here are the three questions that i've got for y 'all this week. [01:15:08] (35 seconds)

Dear Heavenly Father, we want to come to you today and God, turn this moment over to you and let you have your will in our hearts and in our lives. And God, I pray that you would help us to find victory today over sin. Help us to be aligned with your will. God, I pray that you would provide the things that we need in our life today, both physically and spiritually. God, heal those who need your healing today. And God, save those who need to be saved. [01:18:30] (28 seconds)

Words in Jesus' name that we pray. Amen. Would you stand? [01:19:39] (4 seconds)
