Transforming Lives Through Internal Holiness and God's Presence

Many times when we look at holiness and really live for God, something I've been trying to really teach lately, and hopefully it's coming across the more I hammer away at it, and that is the more you seek internal holiness, that commitment, that devotion to God, that consecration to God, the more of a blessed life that you have. [00:03:34] (21 seconds)

When we focus on holiness, God changes us from the inside out. That pleases him far more than momentary fixes of our needs. So, you know, somebody wake up and say, today, I need to do this. I need to do this. I need to do this. I need to do this. [00:12:30] (13 seconds)

This is what the world needs. We need a strong relationship with God, not up and down and in and out and not knowing. Sometimes people are wishy-washy. They don't really have a desire to serve God. There's not a commitment. I have been fanatical, if you will, and I know people have called me fanatical over the years, but I just believe that serving God is the way I want to go. [00:17:43] (23 seconds)

God looked down upon us and saw people that had a made up mind to serve God. And I know there's going to be some that say, well, that's too fanatical. Let me know when the power's back on and I'll come to church. Or let me know when you got everything all put back together and then I'll be there. That's fine. We're working hard to get it back together. [00:20:56] (18 seconds)

When we're seeking God with everything within us, and we really are dedicating and committing ourselves to Christ, it opens up the door to external blessings. He says in Hebrews 12 and 14, follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Earthly blessings are temporary, but holiness is eternal. [00:28:14] (22 seconds)
