Devotional

Sermon Summary

Sermon Clips

1) "You've been saying, is this the end? God, is it all coming down? Is it all ending? And the spirit of grace is saying to you this morning, you must not. You must not sit down and be silent. For your ordination is not to defeat but to victory. But on your end, for your part, says the spirit of grace, you must keep moving. You must keep believing. You must keep saying. You must keep pressing. Do not sit down. Do not give in. Do not give up." [43:25] (42 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2) "The kingdom way of change, it works, but it doesn't start with external, it starts with internal. And so today, the title of the message is the process. The process. There is a process that will change everything in our lives, but it doesn't start with the things in our lives. It starts with the person that we see in the mirror every morning." 3) "The process of change, kingdom change, starts with the way we think. And I don't want to run too far ahead, but this is what I got to say to you, is really that's all you got to do. You don't have to worry about your words or your behavior. You don't got to worry about everything else in life. You just got to learn to control your thoughts. Just take care of your thoughts and it'll affect everything else." [01:09:47] (27 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4) "Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and glorious at the end. Because the reason why it's messy in the middle is we don't know what this new season is. It's just like the seasons are changing right now in the natural, right? You wake up in the morning, you got to put a coat on. By afternoon, you're sweating. You don't know what the day is going to... This is what it is like when life changes. You don't always know. So you got to flow with it. You got to trust God." 5) "God gives us promises. That's what we're to dwell on. And listen, I want you to hear this. A divine promise is more powerful than your predicament. I want to say that again. A divine promise is more powerful than your predicament. So God wants you to dwell on his promise to you, not the predicament you're in in your life." 6) "The process of change starts by thinking what's honorable because if you think what's honorable, you'll speak what's honorable. And if your thoughts are only good, you're never going to say something bad. This is why, listen, if somebody talks vile, they vile. Oh, pastor, you just, that's just too judgmental. You got to be understanding. No, no, no. What comes out of your mouth proves who you are. And I'm not saying it, Jesus is." [01:32:49] (38 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7) "If we want things to change, it doesn't start with the other people. It starts with us. And it starts with the way we think, the way we think about God, the way we think about ourselves, the way we think about our fellow man, the way we think about the life God blessed us with, not cursed us with. The people he put in our lives to help us. Speak words of life and faith. Start aligning your language with God's promises as what you confess will eventually be what you live." 8) "The process of change doesn't begin with behavior. It starts with thoughts. So let God make you a new person by changing the way you think. Control your thoughts. That'll impact your words. And then your actions will follow your words. Do you see the process and do you see how it works?" [01:36:13] (18 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
