You know, a lion is an animal that loves to eat. And a bear is an animal that loves to sleep. And if you want to be a soldier for the kingdom, you've got to overcome your love for eating and your love for sleeping. And if you want to be a soldier of the Holy Spirit, you've got to overcome your love for eating and your love for sleeping. [01:01:36]

David killed a lion and a bear while no one was watching. That qualified him to kill a giant when everyone was watching. Jesus said, when you pray, pray in secret. Your heavenly Father who sees in secret will openly reward you. [01:02:03]

My brothers and sisters, if there is a giant in front of you, it's because there is a David on the inside of you. If you don't kill your giant, your children will have to fight them. [01:03:11]

David goes deep into Philistine territory. And in the Bible, this city is called, they attack. There you got it. Mitek Amah. It was the capital of the Philistines. All the armies gathered there. The queen bee lived there. And David goes deep into Philistine territory. And he conquers the capital. [01:09:03]

Friends, you cannot win a battle if you are always just defending your territory. Do you understand me? David defended his territory. The Philistines came. He struck them. They ran away. But they always came back. And David could defeat them again. And they came back again. [01:07:52]

I am here to tell you that this church cannot just be on the defensive. We must go on the offensive. Amen. It's not just what you do within these four walls. It's what you do outside these four walls that matters most. [01:11:50]

In the New Testament, the reflection or colleague, you could say, of David was Paul. Every God of Paul. He fought the battles of the Lord. All the time he got saved. He expanded the boundaries of the kingdom. And at the end of his life, this is what he said. He said, I fought the good fight. [01:04:30]

David asked the Lord two questions. Should I go against them, and will you give me success? Whenever you ask God for advice, always ask two questions. Can I, and will you give me success? [01:05:35]

When Goliath met David, he was about 3, almost 10, 9, 10 meters tall. When he showed himself, you know, when he showed himself, all of Israel ran from him. They ran. And he was so terrifying. The only person who could stand against him was Saul. [01:20:55]

I am here to say to you, this church cannot just be on the defensive. We must go on the offensive. Amen. It's not just what you do within these four walls. It's what you do outside these four walls that matters most. [01:11:50]
