Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God."

When I say embrace the ministry of the holy spirit in other words you are ready as the spirit of God ministers to you from the word or opens your eyes to what the word is saying you're ready to receive it and do something about it can somebody say Amen so this what I want to look at a little bit this morning. The Holy Spirit not by your intellect your intellect will not figure this out it is only the holy spirit that opens your eyes and gives you light concerning these matters and when that happens and you embrace it it brings about some kind of change change within you and that's what it is all about when God picked you up he didn't pick you up just to deliver you from some kind of mess and that's it he picked you up so that he could build you and he can make you into something he wants you to be. He is the spirit of Holiness which means whenever he works in our lives he is changing us how many of you believe that you remember to be holy is to be separate it means to be uh uh when When God says he is Holy in other words he is separate from every other kind of gods that people may call in this world he is separate from that and when he requires us to be holy he's requiring of us to identify ourselves with him by being separate from everything that does not accept his design or his characteristics in this world. The power of God is intended to change you the power of God is intended so that your life can be reconfigured in the manner he wants it to be that's why the power of God moves in your life he doesn't move only to make you feel good he moves so that he brings change in your life if that is not your experience the feeling has done you no good it may give you some high for a moment but if it has not changed you then it has not done any good to you. The spirit of Truth he will guide you into all truth in other words he not going to give you some superficial knowledge rather he is going to lead you to the place where what he has opened your eyes to will become a reality in your life in other words there has to be change in my life that's when the Bible tells us the spirit of truth will guide you into all truth in other words he wants to bring you to the place where that knowledge that you have received that Revelation you have received becomes reality within you in your life. The wisdom of God is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit God you know the Bible tells us it's it's the spirit that knows the Deep things of God the mysteries of God the impulses the heartbeat of God it's the spirit that knows that and he is the one that reveals it to us and I want you to understand this clearly this morning he reveals I mean this word even revealed is a strong term it's used to indicate divine revelation of certain Supernatural secrets so God wants to reveal to you and I certain things which the world cannot understand only you will understand it because of his Spirit within you. We have to come to the place where we understand that everything about God con even as contained in his word that wisdom of God can only be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit that's why we got to embrace the ministry of the holy spirit in our lives but understand the ministry of the holy spirit in giving us revelation Opening Our Eyes teaching us the word is intended to make it become reality in our life it is not intended for head knowledge it must become reality. The natural non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and Revelations of the spirit of God for they are folly or meaningless nonsense to him and he is incapable of knowing them of progressively recognizing understanding and becoming better acquainted with him I'm reading from the Amplified by the way because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated now here it is in verse number 14 1 Corinthians chapter 2 we see here when he talks about the natural man it's talking about a uh what the Amplified Bible calls a non-spiritual man. When you embrace the ministry of the Holy Spirit he will open up truths from God's word that will truly set you free and bring change to your life and Circumstance so this has to do for your life your character it has to do for the circumstances in which you find yourself it it has to do for even the state and condition of your body it has to do with anything in your life that you consider needs some addressing by God's word and how many if you know God's word addresses everything concerning our lives. Embracing the ministry of the Holy Spirit he's Spirit of Truth in other words what he reveals must become reality it's not for head knowledge it's not superficial knowledge it's not just Doctrine it must become reality and that's what we want to be before God when the word is revealed to us we want to live it out we it amen and that's what we want to do you know my wife has been teaching my little granddaughter let your light shine you know when they're naughty you're trying to teach them now Jesus doesn't like this and he wants your light to shine. I want to invite you this morning to make a decision that you will embrace the ministry of the if he opens up something in the word to you you're never going to let it become just head knowledge in your life you're going to make it become reality and he will give you words that will be a blessing to your life and circumstan I want you to get ready to do that as we bow our heads in prayer this morning morning and I believe God is going to really position us all of this that I'm sharing in the last 2 three weeks is that God will position us to become a people who know how to take in the word we don't want just good sermons we want the word to become reality in our lives. We thank you that he is our teacher we thank you that he is the spirit of Truth who wants to guide us into all truth and father we understand this morning that means whatever he reveals to us and teaches us he also will inspire and prompt us to make it become reality in our lives leading us to obedience and that's what we desire to do this morning Father and we know so often this has to do with our lives and so we present ourselves to you because in a moment we will come father to the table and it's so important that our lives are always examined when we come to the table.
