The good news of what God has done for us, man, it has radically changed my life. Quick background, like my mom died while she gave birth to me, my dad remarried and then my stepmom died in a car accident when I was about eight and then my dad got married again and then he died when I was 12 of cancer. [00:36:43]

I am more blown away by God today and the truth of this book than I was 40 years ago when I first started believing. And I even remember as a teenager I would be studying this book and understanding who God is more and more, and I would just be fascinated. [00:208:43]

In heaven very little has changed. You know God doesn't change, you know, and I love that scene in Revelation 4 with those four living creatures as day and night they never stop saying, holy holy holy is the Lord God almighty like that doesn't end, it doesn't change. [00:288:48]

God is still worthy to be praised and so when I find myself in this circumstance then I'm going to praise him, I'm going to work even harder, but he deserves my praise right now because he is still the same God that I worshipped five years ago, 40 years ago. [00:391:20]

We love reading Hebrews 11 and you see all the struggles and the sacrifice and the suffering but they never stop praising God till they die, and you go okay there's something worshipful, something that honors God that glorifies him when I worship him during the difficult times. [00:425:60]

For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing it is the gift of God not as a result of works so that no one may boast, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which he prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. [00:553:04]

But God being rich in mercy because of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead in our trespasses made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. [00:514:16]

There was a time when you and I we just did what we wanted, it's like we just we had no conviction of our sin we just did whatever we did he said we just followed everyone else on the earth, dead in our sins and it says we were by nature children of wrath. [00:594:56]

And it would have been perfectly fair and just for him to pour out his wrath, and then it says but God being rich in mercy, but this being this holy holy holy being who had every right if that was the end of the story, he poured his wrath on me that's fair I rebelled. [00:632:96]

And yet somehow he gave us a mind to understand him he put his spirit in us so that we have the mind of Christ and our eyes are open to the truth of the good news and suddenly we're sensitive to the things that he hates but we were dead in our trespasses and sins. [00:1041:36]

There are so many people on the planet right now so many people at your university that they're floating around dead in their trespasses and sins with no awareness of who made their minds no awareness of how he wants them to live no awareness that they are his workmanship. [00:1080:16]

I pray the same is true of you as you keep studying his word as you keep seeking him that you never lose the fascination of the gospel and that you see yourself now as messengers of this great message for the rest of your life. [00:1150:40]
