As you tell others what God has done in your life, it can help them see that God is real. And what he can tell them what he can do in their life. But you know what else it does? It reminds you. How many times have you read a scripture, heard a scripture, seen it somewhere? How many times do you think the word remember is in here? It's pretty important, isn't it? Pretty important that we remember. [00:36:43] (27 seconds)  #PowerOfRemembering

I knew where I needed to go. I know, I knew what I needed to be doing. But somehow, I made a wrong turn. I got on the wrong road in life. Have you ever gotten on the wrong road? Have you ever gone down the wrong path? Have you ever gotten on the wrong path? Have you ever gotten on the wrong path? on how to fix it. [00:46:40] (19 seconds)  #FindingTheRightPath

You ever been on the wrong road? You ever gone down the wrong path? That took me a long ways through a lot of bad neighborhoods, you could say, through a lot of bad situations in my life. I lived homeless several times in several different ways. Now, I wasn't outside no less homeless, all right? I may have been couch surfing in people's houses, but I was still without one of myself. [00:48:31] (29 seconds)  #FaithInHardTimes

I learned at an early age that I could tell from across the room if it was one of the crummy ones or who's good Louie Lamour or something with quality these were all from them but I thought if I can just get my hands on one of them I can ignore what's going on in life I can walk out everything else and just pour myself into the book into the world that it talks about if I can just get my hands on a book I can ignore the fact that they're gonna foreclose on my condo that they're gonna throw my stuff in the street that they're gonna tow my car that I'm gonna walk out of here one day with a little white mesh bag with about six pairs of socks and that's it tonight I didn't want to face that I don't want to think about that so I did what I've learned from you I knew to pray so I sat out on my bunk and I started praying or give me a book to pass the time and I prayed non -stop for probably 30 minutes guys I had not prayed collectively for 30 minutes for my entire 27 years is when I was about 26 or 27 but I prayed that day. [00:51:49] (68 seconds)  #PersistenceInScripture

See, I thought I would learn about God when I read the Bible. And you do, but I've got to tell you, the first two or three times I read it, I didn't learn anything about God. I learned about me. It's written about me. It's written about a lot of things that were directly to my life. I got a copy of the full Bible and was able to read it through about four times while I was there. [00:55:19] (22 seconds)  #RedemptionForAll

I've come to learn that if He can do that for me, He can do it for you. Do you always believe that when you see people? Or sometimes, do their attitudes and actions cause you to look at them differently? To look at them in a different manner and treat them with hostility? Or think they can't change? Or they won't change? Or God's not active in their lives because they've got all this mess going on so He can't possibly be active in their lives? He was active in mine. In the midst of all of that. That is active in others. The problem is sometimes we get distracted by what we see. [01:02:00] (45 seconds)  #EmbracingBrokenness

How many of those cars require gas? Show me. So when you're at the gas station and you're pumping gas in your car, anybody else there? Two feet away from them. Might need to hear what God's done in your life. Might need to hear how God's moved in your life. And how you might move in there. What's God calling you to do with this? How is he calling you to celebrate the victory that he's brought into your life and to share that with others? [01:05:55] (35 seconds)  #PreparedToShare

The only reason I can share my testimony the way I do, whether it be 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 20 minutes, I can give you the six -hour version. So far, no one has won it. The only reason I can do that is we had a class at my church that said, can you give your testimony in two minutes? And we all worked on it and developed how we could share our testimony in two minutes, then you had to share it in that Sunday school class. And guess what? Not one of us could. And let us know that we needed more work. That we needed to think ahead of time of what we might say and how we might share that. [01:06:38] (37 seconds)  #RespondWithVictory
