1. "Individually in our own lives the only time that well excuse me the the only time that you should worship God it should not just be on Sunday mornings you should be worshiping God every single day of your life but you should also come together and worship God in a corporate setting as we do here on Sunday mornings I've had people ask me well Pastor Dan how often should I be here what's a good attendance ratio if I'm going to come and attend church on Sunday mornings well first of all it's not just about church attendance and so let's get that right out of the gate it's about worship you should be here to worship you shouldn't be here to see what we're doing or what kind of show we're putting on because trust me we are not trying to put on a show we're trying to lead everyone here in worship but you should be here as much as you can as often as you can because again it's not about us it's not about checking a box it's about coming together to worship together and our corporate worship together encourages other believers it builds up the body of Christ and those moments in your life where you're at your lowest you need to be here for worship because then the body of Christ can encourage you can lift you up and point you to Christ and you can gather together but worship should also be something that you do individually every single day of your life."

2. "Isaiah, and here's a word, I'm using this word on purpose this morning. Isaiah sees the transcendence of God. That word transcendence means the awesome greatness of God. Isaiah sees the transcendence of God, his greatness, his divinity, his awesomeness, his earth-filling glory, his perfect holiness, his supremacy. And this does something to the very core of Isaiah. It speaks to his heart. It moves his soul. It brings his soul to life. does something to him. If it was you, it should do something to you too. So what does this do to Isaiah number two? It helps Isaiah realize who he is. Not only do we need to recognize who God is, but we need to realize who I am. Or realize who you are before God. What is Isaiah's response here to seeing this vision of God? He says, Woe is me, for I am ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips, and live among a people of unclean lips. And because my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies. Isaiah says, Woe is me, I am, as some translations, the King James and the new King James. I love the way that, it says it, I am undone."

3. "Isaiah realizes that he is unworthy to be in God's presence because of his sin. We see this in what he says. He says, I am ruined. I am undone. I am not worthy. you know what I love about that? God does something about it. You see this? I'm going to give you guys a little bit of a hint here. This is a picture of Jesus. This is a picture of the cross. This is a picture of salvation. Isaiah realizes his sinfulness and I believe that it was God that directed that seraphim over to that basin that held those coals and that angel took, up one of those coals and took it to Isaiah and he said, here, I'm going to put this on your lips and it's going to atone for your sins. It's going to forgive your sins. It's going to wash you clean so that way you can be here in the presence of God. And Isaiah has this angel put this coal, this hot coal, which is a representation of God's grace, God's mercy, God's forgiveness, God's salvation, God's holiness, God's righteousness. He puts it on Isaiah's mouth and the angel says to him, he says, now that this has touched your lips, your iniquity is removed. Your sin is atoned for."

4. "When we experience God and we realize who he is and we realize who we are, it changes us and God doesn't let us leave that place the same. Isaiah is forgiven. His sin is atoned for. God forgives the iniquity that is in his heart and it changes Isaiah from that day forward. When we worship God, we should go into that moment with him to expect for him to change us. If you leave unchanged, it is not God's fault. Realize who you are. Isaiah realized that he was a sinner. God provided atonement for Isaiah. He does not leave Isaiah as he is. God gives Isaiah grace, mercy, and forgiveness of his sins. And again, this is a perfect picture of the gospel. It is looking forward to what Jesus Christ is going to do for humanity on the cross. God is holy, righteous, and sinless and we are unholy, unrighteous, and sinful. And Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, for your sins, for the sins of the whole world to give us salvation through grace, mercy, and forgiveness of our sins. Have you experienced that salvation in your life today? When you see God, do you also recognize who you are?"

5. "God tells Isaiah, he says, go, but it won't be easy. He gives Isaiah a whole list of things, he says, he says, go. Go, and I'm going to let you know, the people are not going to listen to you. They are going to be hard-hearted. They're going to stop up their ears. Their hearts are going to be far away from me. You're going to feel like that you are preaching to a rock. But don't stop. You keep preaching. You keep sharing the gospel. You keep pointing them to Jesus. You keep declaring the glory of God, the righteousness of God, the holiness of God. Don't you give up, even though their hearts are hard, even though it feels like they're ignoring you. He says, they're not rejecting you, they're rejecting me. And my salvation, go, but it's not going to be easy. Church, listen, as we have a desire to fulfill God's mission here on this earth to share the gospel and to make disciples, we have to realize that it is not going to be easy. It is going to be difficult. It is going to be hard. You are going to have to make sacrifices. But in the end, it will be worth it."

6. "In the darkest moments of our lives, when we feel like that all that we're doing means nothing to the world, means nothing to our family, means nothing to the people around us. It feels like we're just spinning our wheels, talking about Jesus, trying to make disciples, trying to tell people about Christ and nothing is happening. God says, don't lose heart because there is still life and I can still work. He says, I can bring life out of a dead stump. I can bring dead bones together and put them back together and reinvigorate them, those bones into living again. He says, I can bring the nation of Israel back. It will be a small remnant, but they will come back to me and in our own lives, those people that we're praying for. Those people that we're hoping come to Christ. Those people we want to come back to Christ. It may feel like that all we're doing is talking to a dead stump, but God says, don't you give up because I can bring life out of the death that is in that stump."
