last week I was in Africa and a few months ago I was in the same area because there's there's a tribal war going on couple million people are displaced starving you know just homeless like running for their lives trying to get aid to them everything else but we find out that many of these people in these two tribes claim to be believers and there's there's pastors on both ends and and pastors are seeing their friends killed and and they they're just they're right in the tribal war with everyone else [00:00:04]

and when and and we said well let's you know we were going to do a pastors conference that the leaders out there as peacemakers they they grab fifty pastors from one tribe and fifty from another and put them in separate locations and then brought them together and asked me to preach to them and they said we don't know what's gonna come we don't know what's going to happen when we bring them together this hasn't been done and there's a lot of anger there's this that whatever there there have been family members killed they've watched these are the many of them have lost their homes and everything else have nowhere to go [00:00:47]

and the Word of God at that time we were studying first John in our Bible reading so I just started teaching through first John it's like you can't you can't hate your you're a liar if you say you know God and you hate your brother I don't I don't care what you say I don't care what you call yourself the Bible says you're a liar you don't know God how can you how can you say you know God whom you can't see we don't love your brother whom you can just the Word of God seeing the power of the word of God and the tension start to ease up in that room [00:01:31]

and then by the end of our time and well just a few hours suddenly they're watching each other's feet sobbing and locking arms and singing some song that I didn't know what there's a the translators telling me that they said we will not be divided we will not be divided and there's our let's go marching in to where some of these volatile areas are united arm and arm and it's it's like man the beauty of that the beauty of a peacemaker and just just in God's eyes as he's watching these these pastors working to bring some sort of peace orders that there's a there's just a power to it the Bible promises that [00:02:10]
