"And so finally, we're like, we can't continue doing the same thing. I want different results. So there must be a power greater than myself that can get me, that can bridge the gap. And so we had to believe that, right? Hebrews 11, 6 says, anyone who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." [00:02:59] (20 seconds)

"The Bible says, a guy asked in Acts 16, how can I be saved? And the reply is, believe in the Lord Jesus, his death and resurrection, and you will be saved. In other words, there's a bridge available to you from where you're at to where you want to be. God's the one who needs to do it, and he's done it actually for you." [00:03:29] (21 seconds)

"Step 12, the final principles. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and to practice these principles in all our affairs. And so this illustration will kind of show you what I'm talking about. We have crossed over. We've experienced something fundamental, but we don't forget those that are still stuck like we were on the other side." [00:08:32] (23 seconds)

"Spiritual awakening isn't I just got new information. Spiritual awakening isn't I just decided that I'm going to live and talk about spiritual things. Spiritual awakening is there were things in my life that physically, mentally, and emotionally I could not do until my spirit, by God's grace, was awakened in me. And now I can do what I could not do before." [00:09:59] (27 seconds)

"We've had a spiritual awakening when God takes something ordinary, the dust of the earth, and he makes something incredible out of it. He renews us. He breathes life into us where there was only death. So a natural response to a spiritual awakening is to tell others. And again, even if it's not a spiritual awakening, the natural result of, I got victory in my life, whether it be a diet or an investment or whatever the case might be, the natural response is to share it." [00:14:42] (39 seconds)

"God has taken our greatest weakness and he's transformed it into our greatest strength in the 12 -step fellowship he has taken our pain and suffering and he's turned them into healing for others he has made it possible for us to be of service he's given us meaning and direction purpose and accomplishment he has taken emptiness and filled it up in other words God takes this thing what we could not get over are the biggest the biggest embarrassment in our lives especially our Christian lives and through his power and through his forgiveness and through his transforming a Holy Spirit we begin to have victory and it becomes our greatest strength." [00:19:52] (41 seconds)

"let's look familiar this is the life this is the life lived of someone who's truly living life it's hard but I want you to notice this last line here it says we have nothing and yet we possess everything that's the irony of this you let it go you say it doesn't matter and then all of a sudden the life that you so longed for that so eluded you even though you had a lot of this stuff all of a sudden you find because it's God who created you doing it in you and not you trying to do it yourself." [00:30:00] (39 seconds)
