1. "When we follow Jesus, not everything will happen just the way we plan. Can anyone else relate? I think we all, I think I think we all can. Has anyone ever gone to a restaurant and you look at a picture on a menu and you, man, that looks so good. That looks so amazing. And you order it and then you get, I think I have a picture to kind of show what happens sometimes. Anybody ever feel that with me before? Yeah." 2. "The reality is that you and I, we both have experienced this truth in our life on a much deeper and impactful level. Expectations versus reality. A loved one lost too soon. A dream that you went all in on that might have failed. A job unexpectedly lost. A relationship that you thought was going to be there forever. That might have failed. That was broken. You see, like the disciples, the reality is that we all face circumstances that don't end up according to our plan." [39:51] (33 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

3. "Peter, James, and John saw that despite their fears, their doubts, and their circumstances, Jesus was still God. Jesus was still God. And I believe that God wants to remind some of you guys that today, some of you guys who maybe have walked through circumstances and you've questioned God's faithfulness, you've questioned God, where are you in the city? Where are you in the situation? And God wants to remind you that he is still God." [42:30] (30 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

4. "If you will stay close to Jesus, if you will climb the mountain with him, if you will press into him, if you will walk closely with him, he will be your good shepherd, and he will lead you through the valley of the shadow of death. The Bible says that God is working all things, all things, say all things this morning. All He's working all things for the good of those who love him. Now, it doesn't say that God is working all things for the ease of those who love him, or that God is working all things for the convenience of those who love him, but he is working it out for the good in his plan of redemption for the world." 5. "Our faithfulness to God today can make an impact for generations to come. You see, as you read through Hebrews chapter 11, they didn't understand fully how their faithfulness to God was going to bring about this moment where God could redeem all of his faithfulness. All they knew is that God had given them something to do and they needed to be faithful to it and God used it to impact generations to come. It's such a powerful thought to think about." 6. "Your faithfulness today to God can make an impact for generations to come. So don't cast aside what you feel God's called you to do or think or minimize it because you never know how God can use it to impact. Galatians chapter 6, verse 9 says, Let us not become weary in doing good. For at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Are there things that, that you feel God has called you to do? Purposes in your life today where you just feel like giving up. It's too hard. I don't have the skills. I don't have the ability. I don't know what to do. Don't give up, church. Be faithful to what God has called you to do." [55:51] (48 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

7. "We must be careful that we do not become so comfortable with Jesus that we don't esteem him as holy and set apart. You see, I think of the time in our history where people believed that the sun and the planets actually revolved around the earth. I don't think anybody was alive during that time. Pastor Steve, no. Just kidding. They joke around about their age, so I'm just going along. But they believed that the planets and the sun actually revolved around the earth. And then they actually came to the place where they realized, No, the sun is in the center and everything else revolves around that." [59:28] (48 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

8. "When Jesus is in the center, yes, some things have to be removed. But everything becomes about him. Our lives revolve around him. We must be careful this morning that we're not too comfortable with Jesus, that we don't esteem him as holy and set apart. And so this morning, there's a few questions as we close that I want us to consider. Are there situations that you're facing that are not going according to your plan? And we saw this morning, there was lots of us, my hand, was right up with you guys." [01:00:38] (38 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9. "Do you recognize that your faithfulness to God's work for your life will impact generations? Do you recognize that your faithfulness After you. Church, we can't underestimate the power of a seed. Even if what God has you doing is planting seeds, you may not see the fruit right away. But I can tell you this, I've seen weeds in my garden. I want one weed becomes two weeds, becomes 10 weeds, becomes 20 weeds. Anybody relate today? But the same thing is true with good fruit. That those tomato plants fall to the ground, the seeds fall on the ground, more tomatoes shoot up, and pretty soon they're everywhere." 10. "Do you recognize how important your job is as a parent, as a grandparent, as a children's church leader, a youth ministry worker, a co-worker? Do you recognize how important that your work is to God and how we can use it to impact generations? Do you recognize how important Do you recognize how important Do you recognize how important Don't lose heart. Don't give in, but press into the Lord and he will strengthen you to do what he's called you to do." [01:03:02] (24 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)
