#HopeBeyondSuffering
“I do think that sometimes, though, the church got very much only cross, only crucifixion only. That's why I sort of like, yep. We got it front and center there, but we have the glory too, the hope that it isn't just pain and suffering until we die, that we have these glimpses in our lives, and not just in the heavenly glory, but there are good things that happen here too as well.”

#ListenToHim
“Jesus has told his disciples he must suffer and die. They're still struggling to understand it, what it's all about. He gives them a glimpse of his glory in this transfiguration with Moses and Elijah, law and prophets. It's really interesting, of course, how the voice says, this is my beloved son with whom I'm well pleased. We heard that at the baptism. Now adds in the words, listen to him. That Moses and Elijah are subordinate as it were to Christ, of course.”
