#IntegrityOverPerformance
“And so my sermon in the sentence, god rejects outward religious performance without an inward transformation but graciously invites repentance that leads to cleansing and restoration. I got three little things, and I'll be through with my Easter speech, and we'll be on our way. The first thing I see here is when the church lacks integrity. When the church lacks integrity, religious activity without righteousness is offensive to god. Yeah. Teach us.”

#WorshipNotReligion
“Sad reality is in Amos five, the lord has some harsh words for those who attempted to worship him while bringing with them the guilt of an ungodly lifestyle. His people were constantly angering him by following false gods. When they assemble to worship the lord through sacrifices and through songs, god despised their hypocrisy. can I tell you too often we wear ourselves because we operate with too much religion and not enough worship? Alright.”

#RepentDontPretend
“Sad reality is that many of us wanna give god our works. Yeah. But we fail to offer up repentance. Yes, sir. Yeah. And to tell god, I'm sorry. For what I've done in your kingdom. Some of us got the audacity just to live raggedy lives. Right. And we wanna come in here and act like we're saved and sanctified. Can I tell you, you can fool me, you can fool the deacons, you can fool the gatekeepers, you can even fool Larry, but you can't fool God?”

#HeartOverRituals
“We can offer god all kinds of religious rituals and ceremonies, all kinds of religious service, and he may hate it and consider it an abomination. Perhaps in the midst of all their calamity, Judah thought that the answer was in religious ceremonies. felt like if we just had more church, that it would overcome our wrongdoings. But can I tell you in their ancient version of church attendance and putting a few dollars in the offering, but watch this? If their heart didn't change and they were not humble and they did not surrender to the lord, it made no difference. Without the right heart, god hated their religious ceremony and their service.”

#ChurchForTheLost
“Folks are dying in a world with no knowledge of who Christ is. Folks are giving up on life because they have no hope. Chaos is finding itself in this world on a daily basis. But we the church, we fighting over what color to wear in the choir, whose name was left off the program, What ministry is cooking what for the fellowship. We sitting up here fighting over stuff that don't mean nothing, and people are dying out here. We have to come back to what the church was made for in the first place. Yeah. I wanna be involved with a church where the work of the church leads to compassion. Yeah. If it's not about drawing people to Christ, then it's not top priority in my life.”

#GenuineRepentance
“Alright. Sad sad reality is a trouble is that we invest in rituals without repentance. Repentance is a sorry, that I messed up. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But not a sorry I got caught. Not enough to apologize just because you got caught. But god wants us to acknowledge our own doings. Even when we think we got away with it. We put all of our energies on religion and none of it on a relationship. Yeah. And that will wear you out spiritually and emotionally. Yeah. That's right. It also weary god himself.”

#TransformLivesNotTrends
“A church that doesn't make a difference in our lives. Alright. Isn't any good. If we fail to be spiritual transformers, what is our purpose? We don't just come here just to put a suit on. Yeah. Yeah. We don't come here just to see people we ain't seen till last Sunday. that's good and dandy, but I come. Oh, yeah. In order that I might hear a word. Yeah. That makes me better than I was before I walked in here. I come in order to lift up my voice and sing praises unto the lord who's done any and everything for me. And so I didn't come in order to to rub elbows with nobody else. I come to offer everything that I have unto the lord.”

#LovePeopleNotCeremony
“Can I tell you the leaders and the people of Judah wanted to say that they love God by their religious ceremonies, but the Lord cared more about how they treated other people, especially the weak? Yeah. Alright. Alright. Say, yeah. You coming to church. You you you you've established all of these religious ceremony. Yeah. He he say, you haven't worshiped, but people are still sick. Yeah. You haven't worshiped, and people are still depressed. People are still down and outed. You're celebrating yourself because you've come to the temple. God is saying, no. It's not about religious ceremonies, but it's about a relationship, just vertical, but horizontal as well.”
