Day 1: True Worship Is Rooted in Relationship, Not Ritual

God is calling His people to move beyond religious rituals and traditions, shifting the focus from external places and forms to the posture of the heart. True worship is not about a building, a style, or a set of rules, but about a living relationship with Jesus Christ. When your relationship with Christ is deep, your praise becomes unshakable, no matter the circumstances. Whether you are in a sanctuary, at work, or in the midst of daily life, your heart can be a temple where God dwells, and your worship can rise from any place. [40:24]

John 4:20-24 (ESV)
“Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Day 2: Worship Flows from Revelation of Who God Is

Worship is ignited when you have a fresh revelation of Christ and remember His faithfulness. It is not dependent on a choir, a praise team, or perfect circumstances, but on knowing who God is and recalling what He has done. When you have seen God’s glory and experienced His presence, worship can break out anywhere—your living room, your car, your workplace. The veil has been torn, and God invites you to encounter Him personally, letting your worship flow from the well of revelation and memory. [48:40]

God desires worship that is both spiritual and grounded in truth. Spirit without truth leads to empty emotionalism, while truth without spirit becomes lifeless religion. True worship is a fire ignited when the Holy Spirit’s fullness and the truth of Jesus Christ come together in your life. This means aligning your heart, your lifestyle, and your words with God’s Word, letting your life become an altar of surrender. Worship is not about a sound or a performance, but about a heart fully yielded to God, living in the freedom and reality of Jesus, the Truth. [59:50]

Day 4: God Seeks Surrendered Worshipers, Not Performers

God is not searching for the most talented, the most visible, or the most impressive. He is seeking those whose hearts are fully surrendered, who long for His presence above all else. The Father is actively searching for worshipers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth, not just with words or outward displays, but with lives marked by sacrifice, surrender, and a burning passion for Him. When you offer even a small sacrifice of praise in the midst of difficulty, God draws near and miracles begin to break out. [01:04:59]

Day 5: The Power of Unified Worship and Community

In times of uncertainty and heaviness, God calls His people to come together, to lean on one another, and to lift each other up. The church is not a showcase or a museum, but a family—when one member suffers, all suffer; when one rejoices, all rejoice. As you worship together and support each other, God’s presence brings miracles, healing, and breakthrough. Unity in the body of Christ is a powerful witness and a source of strength, reminding us that we are never alone and that God’s miracle-working power is released in community. [01:29:21]

Today, we began by honoring the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces, recognizing that their courage and sacrifice allow us to gather freely and worship. Their dedication is a living example of the words of Jesus: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” We are grateful for their service and the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

Turning to John 4:20-24, we revisited the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. She came seeking an earthly solution but encountered Jesus, who offered her living water—eternal life. The sevenfold Spirit of God—wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear of the Lord, and the foundational Spirit of the Lord—work together to empower our worship.

God is seeking worshipers, not performers. He is searching for hearts fully surrendered, not just those who know how to put on a show. In these uncertain times, we are called to stand together as the family of God, lifting each other up, bearing one another’s burdens, and worshiping in unity. When we do, miracles happen, chains break, and revival comes. Our hope is not in circumstances, but in Christ, our firm foundation who will never fail.

“Last week, we were introduced to the Samaritan woman at the well, and she was seeking after an earthly fix. But Jesus met her at the place of desperation, and her life forever changed. And she came for earthly water, but of course, she found eternal water, the living water. Following her interaction with Christ, she threw down her water pot and began going through the city, shouting, come see a man. You know, I didn't mention this last week, but I could just imagine hearing the water pot break as she threw it on the ground, saying, hey, I don't need this any longer, for I met a man.”

“We certainly live in a generation that knows how to perform, but not always how to worship. And there is a difference. Jesus redirected her question from where to how. And in verse 21 of John chapter number four, he said, woman, believe me, a time is coming when it is not going to matter where you worship.”

“God was taking worship out of the temple built by human hands and placing it into the posture of one's heart. From form to fire. From ritual to relationship. And as a child of God, we understand, Paul taught us in his writings, that as a child of God, we become the temple of the Holy Spirit. We're not our own. We've been bought with a price. I'm not going to move.”

“He said there's a new type of worshipers coming. Not ones determined and worried about geography. But you're on that back aisle of Walmart and all of a sudden you're asking God, Lord, have mercy on my bank account. That stuff's expensive now. You go to the Dollar General. Lord, have mercy on me. You go to the Dollar Quarter Tree and you're walking down aisle three. And you look at your cell phone and you got an unexpected text message with some bad news. And you're like, I'm just trying to get my dollar quarter item and I get this. Have you ever had anything unexpected happen?”

“But it's in that moment, in the trial and testing of our faith, when the fire and the heat of the enemy is upon us, we realize that I am going to make it. I may not know how I'm going to make it. It may not can seem like I'm going to make it. But when I look back over my left shoulder, I realize I come too far to give up now. I've crossed too many valleys. I've climbed too many mountains. I've gone through too much hell to give up now. I'm going to praise them anyway.”

“I don't have to wait till Sunday to praise them. I can praise them by myself in my car. I can praise them in Walmart. I can praise them. I've got to anyhow pray. And it's time we get back our anyhow pray.”

“This kind of praise and worship I'm talking about ain't determined about what the temperature is inside or outside. What you got are, you could be in the shower and give God the glory. You could be getting dressed, giving God the glory. You could be trying to get your children to school and they acting crazy in the back seat like mine do. And you just turn up that worship music and say, I still got to praise.”

“Jesus said these kind of, there's a new generation of worshipers coming up. It's not going to be about religion, but relationship. Number two, he said there's another time that's coming. A time of revelation. Knowing the object of our worship.”

“You see, brothers and sisters, true worship flows from the well of revelation. And when the Holy Ghost of God opens your vision to see the manifest glory of God. God, when you have seen his faithfulness and felt his presence, you don't need a choir. Come on here. You don't need a praise team. You don't need a cheerleader. All you need is two things, a vision and a memory.”

“Because if I could get a fresh revelation of who Christ is, and if I can remember what all Christ has done, that's all I need. Those are two ingredients that create a crazy praise and a crazy worship. Revelation produces worship and revelation flows from the spirit. When you know your God, when you have encountered his presence, you can worship him anywhere.”

You've got to have both of them working together. Truth and spirit. And when truth and spirit connect, fire ignites.”

“And so when we worship God in spirit and in truth, we are talking about not just the spirit and all seven manifestations of the spirit. But we are also talking about truth. Who is truth? Jesus is truth. And we see that in John chapter number one. And the word became flesh and it dwelt among us. Jesus is the truth. And the word says when you have the truth, it has set you free. And how does it set you free? Because the truth is Jesus. And when you have Jesus, you have the truth. And when you have the truth and you have Jesus, you got freedom. It all works together.”

“To worship in truth, watch this, means aligning your heart, your lifestyle, your words with the word of God. Look, we can't sing about holiness and live in compromise simultaneously. And we can't lift our hands in worship while our hearts are bowed down to idols simultaneously. True worshipers are those whose lives become altars. Where we lay ourself down before God, holy and consecrated and pure before him. True worship is not about a sound. It's about a surrender.”

“A sacrifice of praise says, I feel like just drowning in this situation. But I'm going to try to worship Him anyway. And here's the truth of the matter. When you have that type of sacrifice of praise, all of a sudden the Lord of glory begins to make habitation wherever you are.”
