#JesusWalksThroughDoors
“``So you can be honest with god. You can't be honest with everybody. Some people take everything personal, but here Jesus doesn't take it personal. He said, Thomas, I'll meet you where you are. That's right. Here's the reason why I walked through a closed door to get just to you. Hold on. You missed that. The door was closed. And Jesus walked through a closed door just to get to Thomas.”

#GodKnowsYourHeart
“When they told him we've seen the lord, the bible doesn't say Peter told Jesus or Andrew told Jesus or Matthew told Jesus. The bible says Jesus walks through a closed door and says, Thomas, I'm here show you what you've been asking to see. Hold on. Thomas doesn't tell God how he feels. Jesus knew. Jesus is so much God that he hears my heart when my mouth can't explain how I feel.”

#DoubtToTestimony
“But the good news of John 20 is that Jesus does not discard honest doubters. Jesus didn't lock the door on Thomas and say, since you're doubting I'm done with you. He walked through a closed door to have a conversation with Thomas. Thomas, he meets Thomas right in the middle of his struggle and turn his doubt into an unshakable testimony. So the question on the table is, what are the movements? How how does something written so long ago speak to us now?”

#TrialsTurnToTestimony
“So you can you can bring everything about you and lay it at god's feet. And what god did is we open up the doors. that day, he made a believer out of Thomas. Yeah. Can I tell you? sometime, will permit some stuff to happen. when God get through on the front side on the front side, it'll be hard. On the front side, you're gonna cry. On the front side, you're gonna be heartbroken. But on the back side, you'll say, God, I was doubting you. But God, I look back over my life and you've made a believer out of me.”

#StepAndTrustGod
“Anybody else say, pastor, I've been through enough. God has made a believer out of me that every time I wanted to doubt, Right. God, check that box. And and can I tell you each day in your life Yes? When he's calling you to do something, you will have some doubt. You'll be hesitant. And God said, uh-huh. I need you just to step, and I need you to trust that I'm working while you walking. I I need you to step, and I need you to trust that I'm working while you walking.”

#LiftJesusNotLeaders
“and God and God reminds you and I. I don't need you to be fake. You can be honest that God I'm still becoming. I ain't even arrived yet. I'm still becoming. I still stumble sometime. I still fall short sometime. Not by the grace and by the mercy of god. That's why the song said, don't worship the deacons. Don't worship the preacher. Only lift the savior up. And Jesus said, if you lift me up, I'll draw all men unto myself, but you gotta be honest.”

#GodChecksTheBoxes
“You'll hear God by the power of the Holy Spirit if you're born again. God is, check. I told you not to worry about that. Check. I told you I was gonna watch over your children. Check. I told you I was gonna pay that bill. Check. I told you I was gonna heal your body. Check. I told you I was gonna bring your family to church. Check. I told you that I will never leave you nor forsake you. Somebody ought to be able to testify. God then checked all the boxes in my life.”

#MoreThanDoubtingThomas
“History has unfairly slapped a single label on the apostle Thomas for two thousand years. For over two thousand years, many millions have referred to him as doubting Thomas. But if you read the gospels carefully, you'll discover that Thomas was not a faithless man. He was deeply he was a deeply committed follower who was wrestling with broken expectations.”
