Jesus' life was the foundation of his life was prayer it was prayer and and Jesus didn't have to pray long long prayers to heal the sick he was always just one liers he said to Lazarus he said hey Lazarus pick up your mat and walk sorry he said to Lazarus Lazarus wake up and Lazarus rose up and walked. [00:05:27]

The disciples said Jesus can you teach us one thing and they didn't say one thing but it just the only thing that they asked Jesus to teach them was Jesus teach us how to pray you know Jesus with his preaching he could draw thousands of people but the he the disciples never said teach us how to preach. [00:09:42]

The first level is this us which is petition it is the basic the most um level one of all of our prayers everything begins with asking even our salvation when we say Lord I want you to enter into my heart we have to ask for it right even to be baptized by the Holy Spirit we need to ask and desire of it. [00:12:22]

The key to asking is to ask in the will of God we're good ask in the will of God it it's it's the scripture John 15:7 where where where he says if you abide in me and my words abide in you you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you you know what the Lord wants to give you the desires of your heart. [00:13:26]

This level two is seek devotion this is the place where we don't just ask for the healing but now we are seeking for the Healer we're not just asking for the blessing but now we are seeking the blesser you know in this place of seeking this place of devotion it's coming to know Christ the one who has given it all. [00:14:19]

Another word that we like to use in this church is the word beholding that as we seek the Lord we are beholding his Beauty we are coming to know him for who he is not just as the Romantic one who's wooing you but also in the fullness of all of his aspects the god that we can we need to fear that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. [00:16:22]

The seeking has to be intentional it's not going to come by accident seeking is intentional someone say seeking is intentional SE in you have to craft out time to seek you have to make out an appointment to seek the Lord seriously you got to lock in time in your calendar and say God today I want to meet you at this time. [00:27:01]

I don't believe intercession is only called for is only for those who are called I don't believe that I believe that every single one of us who are believers have been called to be intercessors intercessor is such a big word you know but basically it's communion with Christ is unbroken communion with Christ. [00:36:19]

When we pray level one or level two prayers the emphasis is on we or I going to prayer it is our prayer or my prayer and my desire when we pray we hope God will answer it and we hope it is according to his will however in level three prayers intercession is the Holy Spirit who prays and intercedes. [00:41:28]

Prayer often begins with us but intercession always begins with the Holy Spirit it is he who tells the intercessor to pray this or that it is he the Holy Spirit who gives the terms and conditions of the intercession this is what abiding is often the Holy Spirit asks the intercessor to meet some practical obligation to prove the depth of the intercession. [00:50:55]

When the intercessor prays the intercessor is praying for an outcome of course best case scenario this is what we want Family Revival but for Family Revival to happen you are praying for this but there is a waiting being patient in our prayer to see the rain for the Harvest to come because Without Rain there is no Harvest. [01:10:31]

The problem is that in then our generation we have a problem with waiting we're horrible with waiting you know everything is at our fingertips today that praying six times just doesn't cut it out is there a more efficient way God surely there's a more efficient way everything else in this world is more efficient can my prayers be more efficient.
