1) "This morning, as we go through these verses, we will see that Scripture is totally true. Scripture is without error. And Scripture is accurate and it is trustworthy. We can trust it. When the Bible speaks, it speaks truth and is incapable of error. It is capable of being wrong. One other thing you will notice in the Bible, it is about Jesus Christ. He is the theme in every book. He is the subject of the Scripture." [00:48] (37 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

2) "This morning, I am here to tell you that Scripture alone is all we need. We don't need to add to it or take away. Amen. These verses today are paralleled with Psalm 119. Psalm 119 is the greatest testimony to Scripture. It is packed with 176 verses. I think that's going to be a little bit much for the short time we have this morning. So today as we go through these verses, verse 7 through 9, we're going to see three elements here. The three elements are as listed, as I say here this morning." 3) "The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are true, they are righteous altogether." 5) "The Bible even makes the simple wise, and what the word simple here is referring to is someone who lacks discretion, someone who lacks discernment, someone who lacks maturity and wisdom. The revelation of God can take a simple person who cannot discern or have good judgment and make that person wise." [12:52] (26 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

6) "True joy will come when we obey and follow God's Word. True lasting joy does not come through your possessions or from self-gratification or self-indulgence. True lasting joy comes from the Word of God. So Scripture is our joy." [15:58] (24 seconds) (Download raw clip | Download cropped clip)

9) "God's law frequently called judgments because they are the declarations of his righteous will. And as it were his legal or judicial sentence by which he expects that men should govern themselves and by which he will judge them at the last day." 10) "Scripture is sufficient. It is the power of God to transform to make wise to give joy and complete understanding. We have four parallel verses this morning I would like to read that pertain to verse 9 and they all four come from chapter 1 119 as well."
