It's not our righteousness. We didn't earn it. It's the righteousness of Christ that has been given to us, imputed to us. The power that we have in prayer comes through the name of Jesus, who for the joy set before him endured the cross and scorned its shame, meaning he made a mockery of everything that the cross stood for. Thank God our doubt doesn't disqualify God's deliverance. And just because they didn't understand how God could have delivered Peter didn't stop God from delivering Peter. I don't know. Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20 says, now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to his power that is at work within us. Meaning, he can do more than what you're praying for. So those big, grand, amazingly large prayers that you've prayed, he can do more, immeasurably more, meaning it cannot be measured. Pray when you aren't seeing any change. Pray when you aren't getting the answer or the result you think you want. Pray and don't give up. So many verses in Scripture teach us that.
