The power that we have in prayer comes through the name of Jesus, who for the joy set before him endured the cross and scorned its shame, meaning he made a mockery of everything that the cross stood for. Thank God our doubt doesn't disqualify God's deliverance. And just because they didn't understand how God could have delivered Peter didn't stop God from delivering Peter. I don't know. Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20 says, now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to his power that is at work within us.
