"Christian Liberty does not mean Liberty to do whatever you want to do, but part of Christian Liberty means I understand that God may deal with my brother or my sister in a different way than he deals with me. "Paul says that Believers should act according to their conscience in these matters. Therefore, you would say that for the believer whose conscience did not trouble them, fine, you can eat the meat. For the believer whose conscience did trouble them, you should not eat the meat. Now, is it possible that God could change the heart, the mind, the conscience of a Believer over time? Yes, he could." "Repentance is to change one's mind. Methanoia is the ancient Greek word or some approximation of that. It's a changing of the mind. It means you used to think this way, now you think this way. Your mind has changed. To use an illustration, it's like doing a 180. Here is the sinner facing this way towards sin and unbelief and rejection of Jesus, and now he's metanoia, now he's facing towards faith and trust in God." [00:36:04]

"God has arranged it that we still live in a cause and effect World. There is blessing and cursing inherent in disobedience or in obedience. There is cursing inherent when a person disobeys. When you disobey God, there's going to be a lot more trouble in your life, period.
