Christ is our prophet to save us from the ignorance of sin. Isn't that what he is? He's the word made flesh, right? Came down here to reveal the truth of God to us as the prophet of God. He is our priest to save us from sin's guilt. He made sacrifice for us. And that was himself, right? He was the Lamb of God who took away our sins. And he is our king to save us from the dominion of sin in our flesh. He frees us from sin. Sin shall not have a dominion over us because he's broken that power by giving us a new heart and filling us with his spirit. [00:01:41] (43 seconds)

He walked this earth. You wouldn't think he was a king, so to speak, in his humility, right? And he came down here not to rule over an earthly kingdom, but he came down here to lay down his life for us. But upon his exaltation, his glory was revealed, his glory was restored, and now he rules on the very throne of the universe. [00:08:13] (24 seconds)

Before the world was created, he was king. When the world was created and the universe was created, he was king. When he was in his earthly ministry, he was king. This is all before his exaltation, right? He's always been king over all things. [00:10:42] (18 seconds)

So, his kingdom rules over all, right? So, in the farthest reaches of this universe, I don't know if there's life outside of earth, but let's say that there's some kind of mold growing on Mars. God is king there, right? He's king everywhere. [00:14:20] (17 seconds)

Jesus answered, my kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would fight so that I should not be delivered to the Jews. But now my kingdom is not from here. Pilate therefore said to him, are you a king then? Jesus answered, you say rightly that I am king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who hears of the truth hears my voice. [00:15:30] (31 seconds)

When Christ took on humanity in the incarnation, It was to restore humanity to the throne that God had originally placed to men. That it would come at infinite cost. And Christ paid that cost at Calvary. [00:17:03] (20 seconds)

All authority, all dominion, not some, but all has been given to me in heaven and on earth. And what is that the actual prelude to? The Great Commission, right? He prefaces the Great Commission by saying, hey, I have all authority and all power in heaven and earth. Go ye, therefore, into all the world and make disciples of all nations. You're going under his royal edict, under his royal protection, right? That guarantees that your mission will be successful. [00:26:58] (39 seconds)

These will wage war against the lamb and the lamb might overcome them, will overcome them because he is the Lord of lords and the King of kings and those who are with them are called and elect and faithful. He guarantees us the victory, right? We've been called by him. We've been chosen by him. He has given us his faithfulness and he is the one who is the King of kings and Lord of lords and the lamb will prevail, right? [00:29:05] (37 seconds)
