Jesus is indeed God, possessing all the attributes of deity: eternity, omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotence, and immutability. These attributes are not just theological concepts but are foundational to understanding who Jesus is and why He is worthy of worship. [00:04:01]

The Bible provides numerous affirmations of Jesus' divine nature. For instance, Jesus' eternal existence is highlighted in John 17, where He speaks of His presence before the world began. His omnipresence is illustrated in Ephesians 1:22-23, where He is described as filling all in all. [00:07:24]

His omniscience is evident in Colossians 2:3, which speaks of all treasures of wisdom and knowledge being hidden in Him. Furthermore, His omnipotence is demonstrated in John 5:19, where Jesus claims to do whatever the Father does. [00:09:17]

Lastly, His immutability is affirmed in Hebrews 13:8, which declares Jesus Christ as the same yesterday, today, and forever. Moreover, Jesus' role as the Creator, as stated in John 1:3, and His authority to forgive sins, as seen in Matthew 9:6, further underscore His divine identity. [00:11:46]

The New Testament frequently applies Old Testament references to Yahweh directly to Jesus, reinforcing His deity. Jesus also used divine titles for Himself, such as "I am the Alpha and the Omega," which are exclusive to God. [00:13:31]

Understanding Jesus as both fully God and fully man is crucial for a complete grasp of Christian doctrine. This dual nature is not a contradiction but a mystery that underscores the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. [00:16:02]

Jesus Christ is also obviously the creator of all things. You mentioned that Teresh in your question you said, well, is Jesus truly the creator? Look at what it says in John chapter 1 verse 3: all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. [00:11:46]

In addition, we know that Jesus Christ has the authority to forgive sins as God forgives sins. We find that in Matthew chapter 9 verse 6. We know that Jesus will raise the dead at the end of time. He makes that claim in John chapter 5 verse 25. [00:12:40]

The New Testament takes specific Old Testament references to Yahweh and applies them to Jesus Christ. Finally, I would say this: Jesus Christ referred to Himself in words and phrases that belong to God alone. [00:14:19]

Jesus said, "I am the bread that came down out of heaven." That belongs only to God. He said, "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved." That belongs only to God. Jesus said that you have to abide in Him. [00:14:19]

Jesus said, "I'm the Alpha, the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Only things that God could say. So again, Teresh, I just want you to understand that Jesus did say that He was God, and He said it in many different ways. [00:14:19]

The Bible simply says that Jesus is God, that Jesus Christ has all the attributes of deity. He has those attributes of He's eternal, He's omnipresent, He's omniscient, He's omnipotent, and He's immutable or unchangeable. [00:15:08]
