that this was an impossible situation amen how can you feed 5 000 on only five loaves and two fish I mean it's really an impossibility is it not but it's not an impossibility with Jesus nothing you are facing is an impossibility with the Lord God almighty but this is the thing before that miracle happened of the multiplication to feed all those people Jesus did something I want to recall have you recall what that was amen hallelujah what did he do Jesus gave thanks he gave thanks listen to what the scripture says in John 6 11 it says Jesus then took the loaves and when he had given thanks amen he just distributed them to those who were seated thanksgiving always precedes a miracle amen hallelujah I believe it does so notice that sequence thanksgiving came before multiplication say say thanksgiving comes before multiplication [00:09:18] (82 seconds)

The miracle didn't start with the abundance you see the miracle started with the little but because of thanksgiving hallelujah and because of the sovereign work of God frankly right the miracle came it began with acknowledging what was already in his hands are there things that are already in your hands that you want more think about it it's in your hands God has given it to you but you're like Lord you multiply this but we've got to give thanks to God ahead of time for the miracle because the miracle's right here it's already in our hands it just has to multiply amen hallelujah thank you Jesus we bless you we give you praise oh God [00:10:41] (61 seconds)

So in moments of lack, what do we need to do? We need to pause, and we need to thank God. Amen? Thank God for what you lack, but thank God for who he is. Amen? We don't thank him for the lack. We thank him for who he is, that he can bring us out of that lack. But we say, thank you, God. In all things, we give thanks. So thanksgiving really transforms. [00:15:00] (34 seconds)

Lord, I know my situation, but Father, you're able. You're able. God, you are able to exceed abundantly more than we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us, in Christ Jesus, from generation to generation. That's the expectation. Amen? The expectation that, God, you are the healer. [00:16:02] (21 seconds)

So only after he gave thanks did he call Lazarus forth from the grave. Lazarus, he said, come, come forth. Amen. Only after giving thanks. So Thanksgiving shifts the atmosphere. Amen. [00:18:41] (17 seconds)

That's why when we're here, we see the miracles. We see the move of God. Because we enter in with that Thanksgiving. Hallelujah. And praise. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ. So it moves us from a place of despair, right, to a posture of expectancy. [00:19:07] (17 seconds)

So gratitude or thanksgiving really becomes a bridge between the seen and the unseen. Amen. Between the natural and the supernatural. It becomes a bridge. Between heaven and earth. A convergence of heaven and earth. And that's where we see miracles take place. Hallelujah. [00:22:15] (27 seconds)

So thanksgiving really releases supernatural freedom hallelujah supernatural freedom it breaks chains and it and it opens doors and it and it hits circumstances amen if you start praising him you start thanking him in your time of worship even in your solitude with God it will cause shifts in the atmosphere hallelujah and that's what we're going to do we want thank you Jesus thank you Jesus so thanksgiving in the midst of trials releases that supernatural freedom amen priscilla schreier again she reminds us she said your praise in the valley is a seed for victory on the mountaintop hear that your praise in the valley is a seed for victory on the mountaintop that's awesome so thanksgiving in the midst of a bondage it it breaks those chains and opens those doors remember praise is not just a response to freedom praise is a pathway to freedom [00:26:23] (79 seconds)

So the atmosphere of gratitude, right, creates a habitation for the for the presence of God. A habitation. I desire the habitation. Do you desire habitation? Not just visitation. Listen, we don't want just a visitation. We want a habitation. [00:37:17] (24 seconds)

Because if we just have a visitation, that means the other times then, we're what? We're kind of wandering. We're lost, right? We're not hearing God. We're saying, well, why am I not hearing God? Well, it's because we need the habitation of God in our lives. [00:37:42] (19 seconds)

So when our hearts are full of gratitude, miracles become inevitable. Why? Because we cause our life to be in alignment with the character and the heart of God. Amen? That's key. The Bible says that our purpose on this earth is to be conformed in the image of God. That's our purpose, literally. [00:38:21] (26 seconds)
