35s
“when faith is not dependent on certainty, when it thrives on trust, you trust God. And so you can both ask questions and be questioned. Mhmm. And so I'll just close with, something my my grandmother from Mexico said. She just turned 93. Alright? Hallelujah. About she's about two feet tall, little little native Aztec woman. And she has lived an extremely hard life. No real formal education, but her life motto is, I know nothing but God.”
28s
“God had to have been involved. It doesn't really matter if the way of getting there is what you were taught as a child or not. What matters is that you understand that because God created reality, we don't have to protect God from reality. I I think a lot of this is circling this idea of, what I one of my major themes, if you hear me preach a lot, this will come out a lot. I'm very against small godism.”
34s
“The rest, I'll figure out. And so to me, that's what all our faith should be. Know nothing but God. Start with Jesus and him crucified, as Paul says. Right? Know nothing but Jesus and him crucified, and then let god show the rest. Yes. And when we do that, not as individuals but as collective groups of Christians, we're gonna discover that truly creation is wonderful, it is good, and that we have a place in it not opposed to it. Amazing. Yeah.”
