67s
“Now listen, listen. He doesn't he does not say. Why don't you have faith? They had faith, so he didn't say that. Just like you, when crisis hits, you put your faith in something. That's why he didn't say, why don't you have faith? He said, where is it? That's what he said. Where is your faith? the storm takes away your peace, what do you reach out to get it back? What do you reach out to to get it back? Where do you reach to get it back? Where your faith is? Where faith? Our faith is placed somewhere and teach Jesus was teaching them that genuine faith cannot rest on circumstances. Where is it? And that's the question for us today. Now where is my faith?”
34s
“It's one thing to say I believe facts about Jesus is a whole other thing to say that I trust Jesus, and that trust changes how I live. That's genuine faith. Now we can agree about, you know, the truth about Jesus, but genuine faith, what he's after here is a is a trust that then changes how I live my life. That's genuine faith. That's what he's after. That's what he wants the fires to produce in us.”
42s
“And so the question, you've heard this before, and I I have too, but but but, I mean, it's we just instead of why am I going through it, the question is, what are you producing in me through this? That's not an easy question to ask, know. But that's the trial may be developing patience, may develop developing dependence. It may be removing pride. It may be deepening your prayer life. Maybe strengthening your your faith in the promises of God as you come out on the other side of it.”
