Life’s choices often come wrapped in appealing packages—texts, relationships, or opportunities that feel good but carry hidden dangers. Just as we check food labels to avoid harmful ingredients, we must examine what we consume spiritually. Every influence carries a spiritual “ingredient list” aligning with either God’s truth or the enemy’s deception. Ignoring this risks allowing lust, pride, or destructive patterns to take root. Jesus modeled discernment in prayer, asking the Father to lead us away from harmful paths. True freedom comes when we pause to compare what’s offered to God’s unchanging Word. [35:36]

The pillar of cloud by day and fire by night shows that God can still lead in darkness. Darkness does not cancel movement, holiness, healing, or success. God can guide a single person, a hurting person, a tempted person, and a person walking through obscure seasons. The enemy gets loud when darkness makes sin feel hidden, but God still sees.

Jesus remains the label worth checking. Christ is Redeemer, shelter in the storm, truth, way, and life. The call is not to trust every package that arrives, but to trust the God who sees, leads, delivers, heals, and stays.
