#TruthInLove
“We know, or I hope you realize that just because we think something doesn't mean that it's a holy thing to say. good to speak your mind, but not always. Sometime your your mind just needs to keep its thoughts to itself. Just because something is true doesn't mean that it's a holy thing to say. Even if something is true doesn't mean you can Paul in Ephesians talked about speaking the truth in love. And what that means is you can also speak the truth in a way that's not loving and that's not good. Just because it's true doesn't mean it's right to say. You you have to say it in a loving way.”

#WordsHaveConsequences
“Once words have been spoken, they do their work. Like you you can't I've said things before and I'm like, oh, wait, come back. I I I immediately, I know that I don't want those words to have been spoken. I wish I had a time machine and could just go back fifteen seconds before I said that thing. Sometimes I've said things to my wife before, I see it on her face right away. Oh, I should not have have have said that. And you can't do it. Once they're out there, they're out there, and they're gonna do their work.”

#BlessNotCurse
“``And what James says is that principle applies to our mouth as well. We can't curse someone who's created in God's image. We can't say something harmful to someone who's created in God's image and then go with that same mouth and bless God. That's not how it works. Have you ever heard the expression? It's often I don't know if I've heard it in movies or what, where where someone says something that's that's coarse or or someone says something that's that's not probably the politest or holiest thing to say, and someone else says, do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Right? And James says, do you bless your God with that mouth? With some of the things we say, do we turn around and bless God with that that same mouth? Jim says James says that that shouldn't be.”

#HumanDignityMatters
“What Genesis one says is that when God created humankind, every one of us, every human being is created in God's image. It says that men are created in God's image. Women are created in God's image. Every single human being ever to live was created God's image. And and there's no one out there who is less in God's image than I am. We're we're we're all equal. That there's like no grades. It's not like this person's more in God's image and this person no. We are all equally as human beings in God's image. And what that means is I don't have the right to attack God's image. And that's what Genesis nine says, after the flood, God tells Noah that it's a capital crime if someone murders another person. He says, because humans are created in God's image, and we don't have a right to harm anyone who's created in God's image.”
